'Nuff said. As for the picture on the label,I heard that it's a caricature of a famous beer writer. Can anyone really be that ugly?

A nice deep amber color with a rich creamy tan head this "alt" style brew is hard to beat.A sweet fruity begining with a wonderful hoppy finish

Went to dinner and asked the waitress what was on Tap. After she went through the usual bud,miller,coors. I was waiting for anything microbrewed or at least a Sam Adams. I swear she said "lick ab" and since there was nothing else I asked for it. She brought it over and it looked really good on her tray. It was darker than a Sam’s and smelled great. Boy after my first sip I was hooked! This went down really smooth and had to asked the waitress what was the name of the beer again. Was very satisfied with the way it grab my attention with the first sip and enjoyed it all the way to the bottle of the glass. This is one of my favorite beers.

Red with a thin head. Had it out of a wood cask. Very pleasant. Well balanced with malt and hops. Enjoyable.

Poured a very opaque rusty dark orange. Big aroma that seems like autumn to me ... caramel and malt. Nice. Full-bodied and chewy with full-on flavors of malt, warm bread, crunchy fruit ... but what this really tastes like is that caramel halloween candy! This would be a perfect Thanksgiving quaff.
