750mL bottle. Poured rich, reddish-orange with a little sediment.. semi-transparent.. the pink-tinted head settled down quickly. The aroma picked up a lovely array of tart cranberry skins, lemony vinegar, hay, and musty funk.. very lambic-like, and it smelled like it was going to be very refreshing. The flavor found similar tartness (cranberry skin, wheat, and lemon) around the edges and on the finish, but the middle lacked substance.. just some red wheat and light cardboardey notes down there.. some interesting white vinous notes joined toward the back.. it was indeed refreshing. Lighter-bodied with low and spritzy carbonation on the palate.. the tartness was really nice, but as mentioned, it didn’t have enough support. Glad to have tried it!

From backlog. 750ml from Cornboy - thanks, John! Pour recalls soupy apple juice, but this bad boy was still carbonated. Nose of soft tart fruits and dank yeast. Mouthfeel suffered just a tad from the age (this must have been like a 2006 bottle?), but the flavors were subtle, well rendered, and very yummy.

Pouring at the grand tasting at RBSG in Philly. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Fruity, light funk and soft wheat with light cranberry notes. Soft fruit, lingering light berry notes. Surprisingly tasty with a clean berry finish.

Bottle, courtesy of dickinsonbeer. Clear golden orange with a fading white head. Light cranberry, white wine and brett. Notes of light wheat, tart fruity cranberry, lightly sour with some herbal hop character. Light bodied and smooth with moderate, fine-beaded carbonation. Enjoyable.

Cloudy light amber/pale body with a small white head. Very floral and lightly sweet nose with strawberry, cherry, grapes and herbs. The flavor is lightly sweet with cotton candy, strawberry, melon and red grapes. Medium body is very soft with light carbonation. Very nice.

On tap at Blind Tiger. Soured up real good, not even close to a hefe any more. Weird pickle and cranberry aroma with a decent sourness. Flavor starts off something akin to a mild sour but then stalls into a bland wheatiness with absolutely no finish. I’ve never had a beer that dies so much halfway through each sip. Most unusual.
