Bottle. Pours a hazy bruin body with an off white head. Malty scotch tones, hints of peat, very woody. Light malt tones and caramel with a light fruit and a touch of mint. Some soft vanilla a hint husky like some grain oxidation but hardly any. Very smooth with raisin and a woody finish. Wow did this ever hold up.

Courtesy of Pailhead. Dark mahogany/brownish, 1 finger tan head. Aroma is rather fruity, lots of dark fruits, fig, cherry. Flavor has plenty of dark fruits, faint smoke/peat character, faint alcohol. Reminds me of a dubbel more than a scotch, decent nonetheless.

Thanks to El Jefe for sharing this bottle. Dark ruby brown color with a tan head. Maple and brown sugar aroma with just a faint hint of smoky malt. Sweet chocolaty malts, dark fruits and toffee. Very rich with just the smallest hints of smoke. This has held up very well over the past few years.

bottle courtesy of El Jefe, shared with El Jefe, Jacob & Rudolf. Darker cola colored pour. Ligt malt character in the aroma. Notes of licorice, rasiny dried fruitiness, little scotch ale characteristics like smoke or peat. Still pretty tasty

One of the very last Heavyweight 750s from my cellar. :( Pours brown with a thin tan head. Smells spicy and sweet with some smokiness and some oxidation creeping in. Tastes of cardboard, cobwebs, spicy and sweet. Drink up if you have any left.
