Bottle, bought in Poland. [thank you, Aga]
Pours a nice deep mahogany brown with a great staying small creamy head on top. Good duration, but limited lacing. Aroma is mildly sweet with nutty and caramel tones. Quite full and creamy. Flavour is very sugary sweet, light caramel. Not particularly nice, sadly. Far too sweet for me.

Bottle. Gift from Hennie Groeneveld, who brought a 5-pack from Poland. Very dark colroed, firm head. Aroma has roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. A bit sugary. Medium bodied. Initial sweetness is attacked by some roasted malt and milk chocolate. Short espresso aftertaste. Straightforward but lovely beer.

Bottled, 500ml from an Alkohol shop, Krakow. Dark brown, ruby with white head. Roasty sweetish beer with a heavier palate than many Czech beers, some sweet chocolate notes with caramel and a little burnt sugar. Some malted bitterness late on. Fair.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7756) - Bochum, GERMANY - FEB 18, 2006
(bottle) Dark brown colour with a bubbling beige foamy head, leaving some lace. Sweet and dusty malty aroma with candied orange peels and dark chocolate. Sweetbitter flavour, light to medium body, smooth carbonation. Toasted and dark malty taste, notes of dark chocolate; slim and light bitter malty finish. Unfortunately a bit thin Dunkel with a strange aroma, anyway quite drinkable. (Many thanks to bierkoning for the sample !)
