(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Light-sweet malty, spicy herbal hoppy aroma with a subtle honeyish fruity note, also barnyard. Light-sweet, slightly bitter flavour, medium to light body, pleasantly smooth carbonation. Initially soft malty taste with notes of honey, almost dry, slightly malty, moderately bitter finish with aromatic herbal and slightly spicy hops. Well-crafted Pilsener from Franconia.

Bottle: Clear, golden coloured, mid-sized, slightly lacing white head; sweet-malty nose, with a very restrained fruity "house aroma", some hops on the backseat; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft MF, light malty base; sweet-hoppy finish. A pleasant, well rounded Pils..........

50 cL bottle, trade with Maria. Pours clear and golden orange with an off-white and creamy head. Mild biscuite and caramel malt aroma. Sweet initial flavour with a good portion of caramel and only a vague cornish note. More malty than bitter. Smooth and malty finish, again with only a vague bitterness into the far finish.

The color is beautiful, warm golden and the head is dense and creamy. The aroma has notes of hops. Light fruit and flower and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of slightly dry citrus, flower and malt. The overall impression is pleasant, full and refreshing.

Bottle, from a supermarket in Forchheim, July 2005. Gold, moderate white head and moderate condition. Gentle sweet caramel and hop flowers in the nose, soft and sweet in the mouth with a low caramel note and a touch of hoppiness, thin metellic hops in the finish with a touch of sweet maltiness lingering.
