Trübes orange, sichtbare Hefeflocken, gute Schaumkrone. Weiziges Aroma mit Gewürznelke, leicht bananig. Weicher und leicht dünner Antrunk, untypisch wenig Kohlensäure für ein HW. Süßlich-lieblicher Geschmack mit Hefenoten, Nelke und Banane. Insgesamt ein harmonisches HW der ausgewogenen und sanften Art.

Bottle by 04.01.13. Nose is plastic-filled phenol and unused baby diaper. Cloudy yellow-golden body with a creamy white head. Lemon and strong yeast with very spicy overtones in the mouth, scratch but not overly sweet with a light hint of bitterness. More plastic and clove, everything way out of balance and I find it hard to keep drinking. Slimy medium body.

Draft. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Fruity banana, light clove, clean fresh fruity finish. Good stuff.

Bottle @ Mega Bavarian Beer Tasting in Schlitz. Murky golden orange appearance with a off white head. Quite yeasty, rich clove spicy aroma. Bready, rich yeasty, a bit chewy, thick banana bread flavor.

Cloudy golden colour with small off-white head.
Wheat, yeast, rubber and some sourish fruitiness in aroma.
Flavour is wheat, wood, sourish fruitiness and yeast in flavour.
Quite out of the ordinary Weißbier but I’m not completely sure if that’s a good thing. Get quite yeasty before the end of the glass.

Bottled (from landbierparadies.com). Hazy orange colour, not much head. Aroma is slightly yeasty herbal and hayish notes along with some sweet and bready malts, Flavour is sour wood, some wheat, mild tart fruityness as well as some yeast and mild acidic notes. A rather Berliner Weisse sour wheatbeer. Not sure if it’s intended or infected, but very Berliner Weisse like.

(bottle) pours a hazy golden colour with a rocky white head. aroma of wheat, pepper and light summer fruits, slightly grainy with a hint of clove, marzipan and caramel. flavour is smoother, with lots of caramel, peaches and wheat. medium-bodied with lively carbonation.

Pours a hazy yellow gold with a fading, initially puffy head. Nice clovey/banana impression on the nose, higher alcohols, savory wheat, and that’s about it, but all that’s really necessary for the style. The flavour is a bit milky and uncharacteristically sour. It’s got the general idea, but it’s just not that well executed. It tastes a little papery as well, so it may have spent a few minutes in direct sunlight. Uh oh, fusels. My head is starting to feel it already. The bitterness is hardy noble, but more solvent-like. The body is nice and full and very palatable. Meh, not all that great, but I need to reasses a non-photo-oxidized bottle.
