2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Shaney (1735) - Köln / Cologne, GERMANY - OCT 14, 2012
#845
Test vom 29.1.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,9,8,8,10,8 - 8,15

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Grima (1864) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - FEB 12, 2012
Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Schade drum.

Bottle. Pale amber color, no head. Indifferent bready aroma. Malty sweetish bready, plummy flavor. Low on carbon. Maybe there are some bottling problems, but the beer doesn’t really suffer and remains fresh and pleasant to drink. Plummy aftertaste.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Kristall-König (1859) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2011
Ganz ordentlich. Test vom 21.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, large white head. Intensive malty base, hints of apple and pears without the fruity sourness. Grassy-resiny hops in the lingering finish. Well-crafted - a lovely beer that had enough time to develop.
