Golden with a dense, white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel, hints of cocoa and the finish is slightly dry, citrussy and it has a very light bitterness.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is spiced. Flavour is mild breadish and mild spiced. Dry hops and malt base. Dry finish with a continued spice note.

Bottle. Large beige creamy head that mostly lasted. Spare display of lacework. Hazy amber color. Aroma of grain, bread, caramel, fruit. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor. Sweet toasted malty finish.

(Bottle, thanks motelpogo!) Clear copper color, white head. Butterscotch malty scent, also grainy. Medium to spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet malty taste.

Bottle, from Vroni’s in Bamberg July 2005. Amber, thin white head and moderate condition. Pleasant malty sweetness in the nose with hints of caramel and toffee, more sweet caramel in the mouth but perhaps a little too much, gentle burnt toffee note emerges in the finish but still the sweetness dominates.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, orangey golden with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel and alcohol. Medium-bodied with distinct accents of caramel malt and something that appears like Bier Brand! Quite alcoholic and quite hoppy. I find it hard to believe, that this is only 5.3% alcohol. Quite unique. 121106
