Bottle from trade with Quack-Duck, many thanks. Deep golden color with medium sized white head. Malt, grassy hops in aroma. Taste, caramel malt, honey, toasted bread, some herbs. Light bitterness in finish. Good.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, sweet malt, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120210]

Im Antrunk kann das milde Malz nicht überzeugen. Leider wird das Bier kaum intensiver, die Malzkomponente bleibt gleich, sonst kommt aber nichts hinzu. Lediglich eine wirklich seichte Herbe ist im hinteren Teil auffindbar. Hier fragt man sich, wieso derart an Zutaten gespart wurde – und das bei einem Weihnachtsbier...5/6/5/11/4

500ml bottle The beer in glass is amber-colored, which unfortunately has little foam. The smell is malty, clove come through, minimally roasty bitter also. Starts strong malty spicy, slightly roasted malt. The aftertate shows malty bitter, the further course is minimum is sweet, but overall looks very balanced. Fine Christmas beer.
