Bottle from trade with Quack-Duck, many thanks. Deep golden color with medium sized white head. Malt, grassy hops in aroma. Taste, caramel malt, honey, toasted bread, some herbs. Light bitterness in finish. Good.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, sweet malt, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120210]

Bottled (Timo A). Amber clour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild grains and some and sweet notes. Flavour is quite sweet malts with mild grains and some herbal notes.

Aroma is malty with some berry bush, grainy malt, hints of nettles and hay. Flavour has butter and grainy malt. Some hops with gooseberry bush and nettles in the finish. Decent stuff.

(bottle) pours a clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of heavy burnt toffee, canned peaches, grain and light herbal hops. flavour is less sweet, quite chewy, with a slightly meaty finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Deep golden color. Grassy aroma. Full bodied, malty and bready. Grassy notes. Classic German festbier, well balanced, almost fluid bread.

Im Antrunk kann das milde Malz nicht überzeugen. Leider wird das Bier kaum intensiver, die Malzkomponente bleibt gleich, sonst kommt aber nichts hinzu. Lediglich eine wirklich seichte Herbe ist im hinteren Teil auffindbar. Hier fragt man sich, wieso derart an Zutaten gespart wurde – und das bei einem Weihnachtsbier...5/6/5/11/4

500ml bottle The beer in glass is amber-colored, which unfortunately has little foam. The smell is malty, clove come through, minimally roasty bitter also. Starts strong malty spicy, slightly roasted malt. The aftertate shows malty bitter, the further course is minimum is sweet, but overall looks very balanced. Fine Christmas beer.

Bottle. Fruity and honeyish malt nose, herbal hops. Amber, pearling carbonation, white off-white foam. Carrotcake start, herbal bitterness. medium body, light on the palate. Enjoyable.
