It’s mahogany-red with a creamy, golden head. The aroma has notes of caramel, nuts, light dark syrup and cocoa. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of caramel, roasted malt, nuts, light dark syrup and licorice – it’s a nice dunkel.

Light light unclear medium to dark brown amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, dusty, dry, bread. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100409]

Cloudy amber with a tiny beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Flavour had roasted malt, caramel and grassy hops. Finished dry and bitter.

Clear orange red coloured with a small off white head.
Malty aroma of caramel and rye bread.
Sweet flavour of caramel and rye bread with notes of hops.
Hoppy finish.
Nice dunkel.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep amber with a small white head. Aroma is roasted and breadish. Dark breadish and roasted, Slight bitter. Lasting dry breadish and malty finish.

Swing top bottle. Dark brown color. Skimmed milk and toffee in the aroma. Full bodied. malty sweet, caramelly flavor. Diacetyl! Hints of licorice and chichory. Far from flawless, but an interesting beer.
