bottle, Vielen Dank an Frankenland! Hazy pale golden colour, mid-sized creamy white head. Floral-fruity hoppy nose. Light- to medium-bodied with a malty background and some nice hoppy flavours with a floral character. The fruityness seems to disappear while drinking the beer and the hoppy flavour get more dominant. A very nice Landbier.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas zeigt sich ein leicht getrübtes, ananasgelbes Bier mit einer nahezu perfekten, hohen feinporigen Schaumkrone. Der Geruchstest zeigt Honig und Süßmalz. Der Antrunk erfolgt ebenfalls sehr honig-artig und süßmalzig. Der Nachgeschmack kommt hingegen malzig-würzig durch, fast ein wenig röstig und relativ herb. Dieses Bier ist die perfekte Mischung aus süß, malzig und herb. Absolute Referenzklasse!

It’s golden with a white head. The aroma is mild with notes of malt, flower and light straw. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, flower, and a little caramel right before the dry finish. All in all a very mild, but still very pleasant beer.

Light unclear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, malty, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass, meadow flowers - graass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100615]

A very well made, spicy Landbier...........

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with yeast floaties and a giant, lacing foamy white head. Yeasty, sweet grainy aroma with spicy herbal hops. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft on carbon. Pleasant malty base, yeasty and grainy taste; medium-dry, sweet and slightly bitter finish, malt-accented with shy but balancing hops. Well-matured, pleasant to drink brew.
