Bomber. Pours ruby with an off white head. Aroma is syrupy, sweet hops. Smells like a barley wine. Tastes like a hopped up barley wine. Quite hoppy and strong. Unique for a DIPA. Interesting.

eh, it’s not so great, decent fluffy tan head, deep amber color. A bit alcoholic, a bit creamy in the mouth. Bitter, decent, but don’t really taste the amarillo in there.

I’m not sure if I care for the name of this brew. On tap at the Vintage Estates Wine & Beer. Pour has a big big foamy head. It eventually settles to one eighth inch tan head. Clear orangish color. It has an aroma that is strongish, like you better get ready for what is coming. The flavor is quite hoppy bitter, like a tremendous amount of grapefruit peels being chewed in my mouth. You can taste the alky - overwelming malty and hoppy. However, this lacks some of the hoppyness I was expecting for a double IPA. Not real impressed with this brew but I never was an IPA lover. Has a little carbonation that I am thankful for. This rye based IPA seems more malty than hoppish. This is overall more than my delicate girlie taste buds can handle.

A good IPA. I should say RIPA. This would be my first RIPA. Had on tap. Pours a dark amber with a moderate lasting head. Taste is very bitter, definately get the rye with an insane blend of hops. Clean bitter finish.

It’s like they took a DIPA and mixed it with some Imperial Stout. Regardless, drinking this brew is quite enjoyable. It’s red-brown with a frothy tan head. Good strong aroma, hoppy and roasted. Flavor and palate indicative of a good, solid DIPA, with that roasted compliment.

Beer pours a garnet color with a modestely retained off white colored head. Aroma is caramelly with rye and grapefruit hops. Flavor is bitter with some nice caramel maltiness and rye. My bar for Double IPAs has been really altered lately by beer like Green Flash which are overwhelmingly hoppy and those are the one which I prefer.

Bomber. Pours a dark amber, nice white head, lasts quite a while. Very hoppy. Nice citrus flavor, with some noticable alcohol content, but for 10% it is pretty well masked. Finish is slightly sweet, with a bit of bitter hops.
