22 oz bottle, poured out reddish brown with a nice thick off white head. Aroma is hoppy with a nice undertone of caramel and malt. Flavor is lots of hops up front with a nice malty backbone. Reminded me a lot of Lagunitas’ IPA and Maximus.

Pours a nice reddish orange with a big caramel colored head with some good lace. The aroma is simple but strong and very inviting, plenty of pine and caramel that you can smell across the room. The flavor is surprisingly dry likely from the rye which seems very dominant here, there is a lot of hop bitterness and the grapefruit aspect is pretty high here. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Poured from a 22oz bomber and served in a tulip. This beer poured a dark, hazy amber with a one-finger thick head of creamy beige foam. Great retention and lace. The aroma of the beer consisted of sugary caramel malt, some rye spiciness, grapefruit rind, and oranges. The flavor included strong, upfront rye spiciness, caramelized sugar, light tea, bitter grapefruit, peach, and a shot of alcohol. The mouthfeel was thick and full-bodied. Minimal carbonation. Hoppy, malty, and spicy...tasty stuff. A well made big beer.

Caramel and malt nose. Red-brown body with a tan head. Lace clings to glass. Flavors include caramel, malt and tons of hops. Finish is definitely dry-hopped and includes a heavy, thick mouth-feel. Warming too. Not sure how true-to-style this one is.

Pours a lasting beige head with a clear copper body. Aromas of spicy malt, thick sweetness, and resin. Flavor is malt, caramel, spicy, and resinous. Finish is resinous and sticky.
