Pours a very nice dark orange/amber color with minimal off white head, which quickly dissipates. Smells of alcohol, malt, and citrus hops. Taste of strong hops with great malt character. Some alcohol taste. Very good. A very unique IPA.

Pours a nearly opaque honey golden with a fine-bubbled yellowish beige head. Hoppy, lemony aroma is surprisingly sweet and has a hint of honey. Flavor is somewhat sweet and somewhat hop-bitter with a strong tone of citrus - equal parts lemon and orange - and a firm tone of honey, along with a sweet but not cloying undertone. Texture is silky smooth with some fizz and tingle.

Pours a lasting beige head with a clear copper body. Aromas of spicy malt, thick sweetness, and resin. Flavor is malt, caramel, spicy, and resinous. Finish is resinous and sticky.

Shmaltz Brewing Bittersweet Lenny’s RIPA 22oz Pours a hazy orange brown with a small creamy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of hops, honey, citrus, fresh baked bread, and hard butterscotch candy (Werther’s specifically). Tastes of prunes, hops, butterscotch and bread. Very well balanced with nothing overpowering in the flavor. Alcohol flavor is rather mild for a beer of this ABV. Love this stuff and added it to the rotation. Delicious and approachable.

Bomber from Int’l Market. Amber with tall, stiff tan head which persists and belies the light carbonation. Aroma is cheesy, but that doesn’t last long after the first taste. Rye malt adds spice to the somewhat salty body which fades into heavy grapefruit hops at the finish.

Bomber from Archer Liquors. Poured a copper amber-orange color with a nice off-white head, solid lacing. The aroma was resinous, rich malty, some alcohol. The flavor was sharply bitter, pretty good job of getting there in a dIPA with the extra malt, some caramel, some citrus rinds.

Bottle in Brooklyn. Nice amber body with proud white head. Nice nose of caramel and fruits. Well-bodied. Lots of malts flavours, some caramel. Hop in there too. Nice balance. Strong ABV noticeable. Warms towards the end. Nice and sweet, like Lenny.
