On draught at Bailey’s Taproom. Golden clear in color. Crisp tropical fruit hop aroma. Quite a hoppy flavor for a lager. Citrus and pineapple notes. Finishes slightly bitter.

Aroma is hoppy and malty. All of the He’Brew beers I have tried so far have had a weird funky taste which is evident here as well. Decent lager otherwise but lacking in hops.

Growler. Pours a really vivid gold with a high, large-grained, white head and a lot of visible carbonation. Nose is very floral; moss rose, petunia, and some citrus. The subtlety on the nose is nice. Lovely and bright on the tongue; crisp and hoppy, but not overly so. Lime and floral notes really play up the lager elements. I just find this a really well balanced, easy drinking but not simplistic beer. A little stone fruit sweetness on the finish ties the whole thing together. Bravo.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with thick white head. Aroma is grain, slight citrus, grass and a faint sweetness I can’t pinpoint. Taste is initially pretty hoppy, lemon and grass but then transitions to a bit of peppery yeast and biscuits. Not bad. Palate is light body, medium carbonation. Pretty average, but hops were showcased well.

Pours a pale, transparent gold with a brute white head. Nose of malt and lemon zest. Taste consistent with nose - lemon, grain, touch of bitter hops (just a touch) on finish. Easy to drink, good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A golden body with a white head. Nice retention. Aroma was a mix of floral hops, toasted malts and a bit of talcum powder. Maybe a bit if pine. Flavor was mildly sweet. Hops were present and were more peppery than bitter. Floral notes in the finish. Moderate mouthfeel and easy to drink. A decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz brown bottle. Yellow pour, light haze. White head, soapy lacing. Nose has caramel and citrus hops. Taste has citrus, grass, a bit of sweet caramel malt with a touch of bread. Grassy aftertaste with medium bitterness. Overall, a very decent hopped up lager, very drinkable.

Pineapple yellow, with the apparent thickness of honey. Aroma is bready, heavy Ringwood yeast quality. Pollen. It dances on the tongue. The yeast is very heavy.
