BrewSquid (45), Plattsburg, Missouri, USA Dec 9, 2006 Cloudy, light copper color. Nice pale white head but it did not last nor did it lace down the glass. Highly hopped beers (117# in 120 bbl) seldom have fruit juice added to them. At $4.49 a bottle it is not a bad beer but not worth going out of my way to purchase another.
fordest (1857), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Nov 18, 2008 22 oz bottle. Lots of muted hops that were mostly just sweetness. They were evident in the aroma and the flavor. Sweet finish and some vanilla and caramel malts in the long finish. I liked it! ThomasE (5075), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 5, 2008 Cloudy orange colour with a beige head. malty, caramel sweet aroma with fruity notes and hints of vanilla, hops and alcohol. malty, caramel sweet flavor with notes of fruit and hops. 00cobraR (1000), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA Aug 26, 2008 This certainly wasnt the greatest beer by any strech of the means. Flavor is sweet and full of alcohol. aroma was nice though. Had a lot of pomegranate to it. Not much else to say about this one. ross (1582), charlotte, North Carolina, USA Aug 25, 2008 Thanks to Daniel for pulling this rare gem out of the cellar. Pours out a red color without much of a head. Smell is fruits, wheat, and nothing else. Taste is sweet, and fruity, but not in a good way. Fruity in the same sense as Greg Luganis. This beer was about as good as cancer. JB175 (1420), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 30, 2008 Reddish color with a smallish head. Aroma is very sweet and sugary with a nice amount of citrus and floral hops. Flavor has lots of caramel and brown sugar sweetness with a smooth hoppy bite. Some dark fruit and candy in there too. Nice feel with a solid finish. A bit underrated in my opinion.
