Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 20, 2008 Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet and totally dominated by over ripe fruit. The flavor is sweet wtih strong notes of fresh fruit as well as lots of hops, somewhat of a hop soup, leading to a dry bitter finish. The alcohol burns slightly in the top of the throat. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 26, 2007 Updated: Feb 21, 2007Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear reddish brown, very brief head. Strong soapy perfumy hop aroma. fairly swee up front, boldly malty and full bodied. Salty with dense cookie malt character and a wealth of fruit and alcohol. Lingering salty bitterness. Potent and flavourful. Rather tasty, but perhaps not very refined. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 25, 2008 (Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Slightly hazy amber golden with a yellowish, off-white head. Fruit, caramel and a little diacety in the nose. Quite full-bodied with sweet, burned caramel, fruit and roasted malts. Lightly bitter finish with a slight underlying acidity. 190408 Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 13, 2006 Standard amber colour. Fairly malty, alcoholic aroma. Fairly strong malty taste, with light caramel and a hint of alcohol. Didn’t get any pomegranate. Nor anything else distinguishing...really dull for a big-ass beer. joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 20, 2008 Bottle.
