Sick_boy282 (1080), San Diego, California, USA May 15, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange hue with a frothy slight off-white head. Aromas of caramel, pine, citrus, and some spice. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with flavors of caramel, a light roasted oat, a little nutty with a nice bitterness. Pomegranate is subdued with noticable alcohol.
Thomas_E (5065), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 5, 2008 Cloudy orange colour with a beige head. malty, caramel sweet aroma with fruity notes and hints of vanilla, hops and alcohol. malty, caramel sweet flavor with notes of fruit and hops. 00cobraR (969), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA Aug 26, 2008 This certainly wasnt the greatest beer by any strech of the means. Flavor is sweet and full of alcohol. aroma was nice though. Had a lot of pomegranate to it. Not much else to say about this one. ross (1562), charlotte, North Carolina, USA Aug 25, 2008 Thanks to Daniel for pulling this rare gem out of the cellar. Pours out a red color without much of a head. Smell is fruits, wheat, and nothing else. Taste is sweet, and fruity, but not in a good way. Fruity in the same sense as Greg Luganis. This beer was about as good as cancer. JB175 (1364), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 30, 2008 Reddish color with a smallish head. Aroma is very sweet and sugary with a nice amount of citrus and floral hops. Flavor has lots of caramel and brown sugar sweetness with a smooth hoppy bite. Some dark fruit and candy in there too. Nice feel with a solid finish. A bit underrated in my opinion. egajdzis (3021), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 13, 2008 Poured a lightly hazy, golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, light pomegranate, almond, and minimal oxidation that I found, especially for being two years old. Taste of sweeter caramel, nuts, lightly tart pomegranate, toasted malts, and surprisingly low alcohol presence for being 10%.
