12oz bottle. Mildly hazy amber-orange color, thin tan head. Nice lace. Good strong hops for a brown ale [turns out it’s an amber, d’oh], works nicely with the mild, nutty maltiness of the brown. More pronounced carbonation, but still crisp. Lighter texture, some spice, light bitter and umami.

Bottle. Hazy brownish amber pour with a loose white head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is quite hoppy with citrus notes standing out although the caramelly malt undertone is still fairly strong, with hints of honey and herbs. Flavour is nearly identical to the aroma. Rather full bodied for the style it has soft carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Probably more like an APA than an Amber Ale but quite nice and exceedingly easy to drink.

Poured a slightly hazy copper color. Fizzier diminishing head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt. Med lite sweetness, lite bitter. Med lite body, below ave. Carbonation. Caramel malt dominates this one, but it is still light and refreshing to drink. On the malty side. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle from PW Pizza. Pours a mostly clear brownish amber color with a small off-white head that settles into a ring. Very malt-forward, with caramel and toasted malts overwhelming most other aspects of the beer. A little bit of earth and nuts in the background. Light-bodied, with a dry, malty mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Decent.

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice bronze color. Caramel, nuts and toasty malt in the taste. Light bodied and a little watery. Aroma seemed a bit thin as well. Just okay, not one I would recommend.

12 oz bottle. Used a pint glass. Amber / brown almost clear color. No head, nearly no aroma even after warming a bit. Low carbonation. Medium body and smooth mouthfeel. The flavor runs to caramel malts with a hop bitterness that carries over into the finish. It’s listed as an Amber Ale, yet I get an IPA taste and feel to it. Or an APA, rather then Amber. Not really my kind of brew, I would drink the Messiah Bold before this one.

I liked this one quite a bit. Amber colored beer, with an off-white head. Aromas of sugar, some grapes. Tastes of sugar water, some pine hops, grapes, ends on a bitter note. Tastes kind of like a mild American strong ale. A bit nutty as well. Tasty and filling, good brew.

Hazy amber with a steady, spitty, white head. Very grainy nose, maybe some light hops, and honey, but mainly stanky grains. Flavor is similar, very grainy and watery. Some light coffee in their as well. One of the worst pale ales I’ve had in some time.
