COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the new recipe replacing the original He’Brew Genesis ale. Balanced between a West Coast style pale and amber ale with just enough malt sweetness to highlight a flurry of hop aroma and flavor. Witness the evolution of our original creation.

Picked this one up at Whole Foods from the bottle. Beer poured a dark haze with nice lacing. Pleasant citrus aroma and nice initial flavor. However, the finish was rather bland/weak without the expected bite. Thus, I would say it’s smooth but not particularly memorable.

12 ounce bottle. Not quite sure where I got it. Pours a clear amber color with a thin creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Citrus hop aroma with caramel malts. The taste is bitter citrus hops and caramel malts. Medium bodied, refreshing, moderate lingering bitterness, high carbonation. Straightforward and very drinkable.

Comes out of the tap an opaque dark honey-golden with a thick, fine-bubbled, pale wheat head. Aroma is VERY hoppy, more woody than evergreen, with fruity and malty hints. Flavor is mainly hoppy, quite bitter and woody, with malty and fruity notes and a whisper of honey. Firm, ragged texture has plenty of life and fizz. If you like IPAs, this one is for you. Dry-hopped beers rock!

Cloudy amber with a medium slowly fading tan head. Aroma is floral and earthy with some caramel beneath. Taste is floral with caramel, burnt malt and mild bitterness.

Bottle. Copper colored clear. Faint citrus hop aroma. Head vanishes fast. Nice flavor for a session ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Instantly became one of my favorite pale ales. It is very well balanced unlike a lot of so-called pale ales out there. It has a nice sweetness from the hops on the front of the tongue, then gives you a bit of bitterness as well as body/mouthfeel to balance out the bitterness as it heads back in your tongue and down your throat.

12oz bottle: pours a transparent dark golden with a stringy-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with a fresh resinous hop character. Starts with pretty good fullness and mild sweetness with a clean hoppy bitterness before a drier bittersweet finish. Has good hop flavor and drinkability.

Copper pour with thin head. Nose of caramel and toffee. Taste is hoppy and fades quickly. Carbonated palate with a thin finish. Decent flavors for a low abv beer.

355ml bottle. Pours a hazy mid-amber, with a medium off-white head, which lasts fairly well and leaves some lacing. The aroma is a blend of nutty malt and grapefruit hops. Fairly strong grapefruit hops up front soften to more of a lemon flavour before giving way to a nutty malt body with some buttery characteristics. Resurgent grapefruit hops and caramel malt make up the finish. Whilst a little simplistic, this is certainly a very drinkable session ale.

Bottle, shared with TylerDurden. Light amber, average foamy head. Lightly toasty caramel, moderately hopped, nicely balanced-- fits the bill as a tasty session brew.
