COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the new recipe replacing the original He’Brew Genesis ale. Balanced between a West Coast style pale and amber ale with just enough malt sweetness to highlight a flurry of hop aroma and flavor. Witness the evolution of our original creation.

Pours a clear dark orange with a nice white head that fades to a ring. Aroma is floral hops with some bread and caramel. Taste is earthy, bread, some caramel sweetness, and a little floral and grass. Hint of bitterness. Somewhat dry on the palate. Very drinkable.

Copper in color with a bubbly off-white head that faded quickly. Had a bit of a wet hop aroma. Very malty aroma and flavor for a pale ale. I’m used to more hop presence in an APA but this was refreshingly different. Malty sweet flavor with a clean finish. Truly a session beer.

Pours clear brown, rotten fruit aroma..taste is hopps and hints of caramel and grass... Not bad at all

12oz bottle, not your typical APA. Amber pour, good foam, hoppy aroma...nice. Taste of hops, with strong malt backbone, and dry hoped taste. Light bodied, not as hoppy as most APA, but enjoyable taste. Worth the try, not willing to buy a case of it though.

Malty and a little flat. Slight sweetness on finish from caramel. Lacks the hops that would be expected.

12 oz bottle. Last shipment of beer of the month club. Pours a cloudy bronze color with a tiny off white head. Smells of malt, hops, and that’s about it; little aroma to the beer. Taste has a little more character than the smell, lots of malt, some hops, a bit of dried fruit. Light-to-medium body. OK beer, but nothing impressive.

Bottle pours clear copper with generous white foamy head. Aroma floral hops. Taste mild malt sweetness with hops. Palate medium. Finish hop bitterness.

Run-of-the-mill APA.

He’Brew Genesis Dry Hopped Session Ale - Orange-gold appearance with solid head that stays around a long time and leaves ample lacing, though the lacing doesn’t last as long as the head. Classic APA aroma of grapefruit and sweet caramel malts - no mistaking this for an Americanized pale ale. Flavor is milder than the aroma let on, but still some sweet malts and good hops. A solid "session" pale ale. Probably won’t get again, but wouldn’t turn down if it was all that was available.

Bottle. Pours a nice copper with interesting looking head. Aroma was definitely hops. Flavor is floral hops with a steady malt backbone.

Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 10/24/12

Aroma: The nose is a little bready, it some caramel malts, pine, and earthy hops
Appearance: It pours a caramel color with a small off-white head and a coating spotty lacing
Flavor: The taste is balanced between the bread/caramel and earth, it is lightly sweet and lightly hoppy
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a pretty decent drinkability, and a lightly dry finish to it
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a very solid APA or Amber or whatever you want to call it. It works well as a Session (even though its 5.6%). I’d drink this again.
