This is the new recipe replacing the original He’Brew Genesis ale. Balanced between a West Coast style pale and amber ale with just enough malt sweetness to highlight a flurry of hop aroma and flavor. Witness the evolution of our original creation.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a slight-to-moderate white head. Nice little bit of hoppiness in the aroma which makes it inviting. The taste is not as bitter as the aroma would suggest, with the malts overtaking the hops here. An interesting brew...

Malty sweet and spicey amber beer.the thin white head lasts the drink. The dry hopping is evident. A badass session ale. Medium body, strength, and balanced hoppy finish.

355 ml bottle @ OT. Pours clear deep amber with a very small offwhite head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet with bread, overripe lemons, hay, urinal blocks, aspartame, vanilla, soap, caramel and hints of dry wood and golden syrup. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter and metallic with cread, orange peal, overripe lemons, grass, red apples and caramel. Mouthfeel is round, watery and light bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with bread, unripe mango, red apples, grass, orange peal and hints of caramel.

Sampled on 10/3/2012. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy and citrusy. Decent carbonation. Decent balance starts malty and bready and finishes hoppy. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle at Bishops Arms, Stockholm. Amber/copper beer with a small offwhite head. Malty citrus aroma, rather sweet, caramel, some brown sugar. Malty flavor, fruity, caramel, brown sugar, a bit thin and lacking character.

Pours a murky copper amber with one finger of sandy tan head. Muddled nose, oxidized/aged hops with a papery malt character. Also.....5.6% session beer????? Terribly oxidized and unclean. A mess of a beer. Gross

Pours a hazy copper/amber color with fair white head. Aroma is different and difficult to pin down. Sweet caramel and honey with earthy hops clashes a bit for my nose. Mild fruit. Taste is mostly bitter with some sweetness near the end. Finish is again mostly bitter. Hops really stand out in this one but it just doesnt balance or finish quite as well as I would hope. Not a bad beer, but not one I would run to again.

From a 355ml bottle on 26 September 2012. Pours a clear deep golden with a medium fine head. The aroma features caramel malt and some fruity hops. The flavour is bursting with caramel, toffee and butterscotch maltiness, which is balanced by a reasonably firm hop bitterness (the dry hopping is noticeable). A quite a distinctive and flavoursome ale.

Poured copper-ish colour with good head. Had a nice hint of bitterness but not overpowering. Good beer.

5.6% is considered a session ale? I need to get off this planet. It’s a good beer, but please - session should not be mentioned in this bible book. Low rankings purely on the misleading name. Please. Call me an asshole.
