COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the new recipe replacing the original He’Brew Genesis ale. Balanced between a West Coast style pale and amber ale with just enough malt sweetness to highlight a flurry of hop aroma and flavor. Witness the evolution of our original creation.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy brown orange with two fingers of pillowy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, resinous, piney, with himts of malt. Flavor is mildly hoppy, bitter, resinous, citrus, over a nutty malt background. Nice choice of hops lend it a citrus, piney and spicy character. Soft carbonation, medium body, and smooth but mildly oily texture. Drinkable, smooth, and mildly hoppy, a solid beer.

Clear amber color. Lots of lace. Hop and caramel mainly. Good bite but also well balanced. Decent mouthfeel, pretty thin. Mild carbonation for an APA.

Crisp copper coloured body with a hint of a ruby tint and a little bronze showing as well with a nice three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of earthy and soapy hops, some malt and a little nuttiness. Light-bodied; Nice fresh hop flavour at first with not much malt at all, a little earthiness and a very mild and subdued sweetness. Aftertaste is a bit of herbal and grassy hoppiness, and not much else - perhaps the faintest amount of malts. Overall, a nice and very easy to drink beer still with some decent flavours and a bit of hops. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Ramsey Liqours in Ramsey, New Jersey on 22-February-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 05-March-2013.

The thin head on a dark straw colored body. A rich aroma that favors the malt with a little pear and apple. The taste is mildly fruity (apple and banana) with a touch of pine bitterness. It feels a little disjointed. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. Nothing special but not bad.

Bottle at home. Pour is deep caramel with a fluffy white head and good lacing. Grass, fruit peel, light bread, biscuit, straw, somewhat husky aroma. Taste is bland, husk, grass, straw, wet-dog, light caramel, and bread with a light bitter finish. Light body with high carbonation. Too malty and bland for my liking. Meh.

Light brown and a little hazy, head and lace were pretty decent. Aroma is nice. Reminds me kinda of their Coney Island Lager, truth be told. A good blend of hops and malts. There’s a little citrus, some floral, some grasses and grains, and some nice hops. Also there’s bread, biscuit, caramel, and toast. Maybe some toffee. Flavors mesh perfectly with the aroma, they’re very complimentary. A well balanced beer. Body is medium and pretty thick really for a moderate ABV beer. Quite enjoyable, I’m quite happy that I have five of these left.

Easy drinking pale ale with a sweet malt backbone. Hazy deep orange color with 1-finger head and lingering lacing. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with white head. Grassy, resiny, piney, hoppy aromas. Hoppy, bread, toasted cracker flavors. Alright.

12oz bottle (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 38°. Color is a murky orange brown with mellow carbonation and a thin tight head. Aroma of caramel and lightly roasted malts. It has a bold medium body with a creamy mouth feel. Flavor of caramel, citrus and apple backed by hop spice and a nice bitterness. In the after taste the fruits come up a bit more before fading out leaving the spice to linger. Overall this is a very well balanced and tasty brew.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Folsom, CA. Pours slightly hazy copper with a slight white head. Aroma is more floral than anything. Med body or less. Flavor is lightly resin with floral. There’s lightly roasty caramel for background. A bit too towards amber I’d say, but it’s certainly drinkable. Has a nicely bitter finish.
