2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a dark gold with a high, pillowy, lacy, off-white head. Nose is tangerine, red grapefruit, and honestly not much else. Some hops up front, followed by mild citrusy sweetness. Carbonation is low. Finish is, again, mild with a little hops and an interesting fresh strawberry note. There’s just not a lot to this beer -- I kept wanting a volume control so I could turn it up.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours Clear copper color with long lasting white head. Aroma is grainy, a bit of roast malts, a bit of a macro feel to it. I don’t get much hop aroma. Taste is caramel malts, grain, faint floral hops. Slight bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not a bad beer, but really doesn’t stand out. I wouldn’t seek this out.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear dull amber with minimal ring of offwhite head. uninspiring and dull faded earthy hops. Matly sweet, but with apple fruitiness. Maybe a fresh bottle would be a different story, but this one was pretty much old hop cracker and caramel. bleh.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours deep gold with a frothy, off-white head the aroma holds dried pale malts, biscuits, pithy citrus and a bit of orange rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with moderate bitterness, slight grass, pine needles, dry pale bread, so e lemon and tangerine pith light rind. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more of the same character-wise. Nothing wrong here.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Look: pours a cloudy orange. White pillowy head.
Smell: dish soap. Citrus. Grapefruit pith. Orange. Taste:tangerine. Grapefruit. Very bitter.
Feel: very dry. Leaves a thick film in the mouth.
Overall: ok beer. Need more malt. A little overly hoppy for a session beer. Just don't like the type of bitterness.
First drank: home 12/2/14

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear light amber with a full, rocky, light tan head.
Aroma: Smells infected...tangy, peppery herbal hops, quite lemony, moderate biscuit maltiness, has potential in an uninfected form.
Palate: Medium body, with full, rounded carbonation...probably too much carbonation.
Flav.: Bitter herbs (infection) with pretty big citrus notes, limited malt support, peppery; dry with fair bitterness and a lightly infected, citrus and herbal finish.
I expected better from these guys.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Malty aroma, almost has a bit of a burnt malt aroma to it. Taste is malty, roasted malt. Palate seems slightly watery for how malty it seems. Good beer, but nothing special based on the other shmaltz beers I have had, but a solid all around beer for the masses.
