COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the new recipe replacing the original He’Brew Genesis ale. Balanced between a West Coast style pale and amber ale with just enough malt sweetness to highlight a flurry of hop aroma and flavor. Witness the evolution of our original creation.

Pours amber with large white head out of bottle. Fruity citrus aroma with hint of dry hops. Hop taste with finish of fruit. Smooth session beer with good flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz btl. to a tulip. First nosing is a pleasant mix of pineapple hops and caramel. Honey and toffee with a little earthiness. The appearance is a light hazy amber. A quickly dissipating 1 inch eggshell head and no lacing. The palate is light, well hopped, medium carbonation and sweet biscuit. A nice summer’s eve’s offering. Enjoyable not spectacular. I had this as part of their mixed hoppy 12 pack. In that context it was a welcome component.

About a 1 inch thick head of medium sized bubbles. Nice hoppy aroma with some honeysuckle, lavendar, mild grains and some perfume. Very floral aroma. Color is a clear dark copper. Pretty bitter flavor with more floral hops, some dry malts, tea leavesand spices. Dry and a bit chalky late swallow with a nice tingle on the back of the tongue. A decent pale ale.

This was pretty malty actually. A definite caramel flavor to it, with a sweet vienna-like flavor. Looks nice but wasn’t really that tasty.

12oz bottle, clear light amber in appearance with healthy white head. Not a huge aroma, a bit of hops and some malt. Taste is floral, grassy hops with light malt. Decent amount of bitterness in the finish. A bit light on taste overall but not bad.

Bottle pours murky brown with a thin tan head and massive amounts of carbonation causing a gusher. Smells and tastes old and infected. Citrus butter bomb. Not pleasant.

Bottle. Nice red amber, low head. Resinny hop nose, slightly skunked unfortunately. Medium light body, light roast and honey, grassy citric and piney hops. Minerally finish, light grass aftertaste.

tmoreau (2417) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2013
12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass with a clear, coppery gold color, an off white cream & bubbles head, and wavy cling to the lacing. The aroma started with resiny & piney notes, then light grain/wheat, light floral hints, mid-fruit, and some lemon. The flavor presented a bit of herbal essence, and a medium, earthy, rind-like, hop bitterness, made nicely palatable by decent, tempering malt content. Medium bodied, with good carbonation to highlight the notes, and a finish that incorporated dryness with the lingering astringency. Nicely quaffable.

Caramel malt and herbaceous hop aroma. Malt is more pronounced. Clear copper with an off-white head. Flavor is malt dominated with grassy hops. Moderate bitterness.
