COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the new recipe replacing the original He’Brew Genesis ale. Balanced between a West Coast style pale and amber ale with just enough malt sweetness to highlight a flurry of hop aroma and flavor. Witness the evolution of our original creation.

Sample @ GABF 13. Pours a clear golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is floral, soapy and light fresh citrus. Flavour is mildly bitter and buttery. Oily texture. Not really impressed.

pours dense amber with a very thin white head. semi-sweet hoppy aroma with notes of maple sugar. Taste has notes of cardboard, some brown sugar and grapefruit. finish is light with some sticky sweetness.

I bought this because it said "dry hopped session ale" - amber pour - frothy, lasting lace - nose of fruit cocktail sweetness (syrup, cherries), lightly citric and wood hops - flavor of mild harsh maltiness, fruit cocktail/fruit punch, peppery hops, citrus - finish is peppery and mildly abrasive - the carbonation is soft and creates a nice texture, but other than that, this is pretty rough and tough to "session."

b3shine (5739) - Indiana, USA - SEP 25, 2013
Bottle to pint. Looks solid for the style; a transparent amberish dark orange with off-white lacing and lively carbonation. Smells of robust citrus hops and malt. Tastes like it smells, but significantly less hoppy. Average on the palate. Decent beer, but it smells better than it tastes.

deep amber pournwith a big off-white head. Aroma is a little hops, some pine, and some fruit. Flavor is a little light, but smooth and dry. Decent brew.

12-ounce brown bottle from the Clifton Park brewery. Pours a dark gold color with a white head. Even dry malt and mellow hoppy flavor balance. Nice "long" hoppy flavor. Overal, very nice.

maekchu (2250) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 22, 2013
Bottle. Mild piney nose, with some citrus in the mix. Medium copper/orange color and a hefty two-finger rocky head. Light but slightly rough caramel / juicy substantial hopping in mid / sandpapery hops and theb it smooths out over a candyish final. Medium body (mainly from hop texture). Good, heavily hopped session stuff

gringo332 (545) - Richardson, Texas, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Good ale for the style. The appearance of this beer is really appealing due to its large-grained sediment settling on the bottom, dark reddish orange color, and medium and foamy head that has good retention; also, the aroma fuses notes of resin and floral hops with roasted malts. Once sipped, the taste is mildly bitter, slightly sour, and a touch sweet, and the palate combines a bitter finish, medium body, average carbonation

Holdwine (1082) - Beertimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Looks great in the glass, mahogany brown withy a decent lasting white head. Nice malty nose. The dry hops then level the rating. A decent beer that shows more promise than it delivers. The hops and malt fight it out to leave a "meh" aftertaste.
