COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the new recipe replacing the original He’Brew Genesis ale. Balanced between a West Coast style pale and amber ale with just enough malt sweetness to highlight a flurry of hop aroma and flavor. Witness the evolution of our original creation.

JDBaker11058 (1366) - Maryland, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Appearance: medium amber brown, with a bit of muddy orange highlights, a short, slightly creamy tan head. Aroma: some grassy, lemony hops over a graham cracker malt base. Taste: as the aroma indicated. Finish: a little watery, but balanced. Notes: Decent enough, but not much to this beer at all.

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours deep gold with a frothy, off-white head the aroma holds dried pale malts, biscuits, pithy citrus and a bit of orange rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with moderate bitterness, slight grass, pine needles, dry pale bread, so e lemon and tangerine pith light rind. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more of the same character-wise. Nothing wrong here.

a decent session pale ale. very malty and hoppy start with a malty and bitter finish. smells malty with some pine notes. pours copper in color with a thick tan head. had a 12oz bottle pour at home.

Look: pours a cloudy orange. White pillowy head. Smell: dish soap. Citrus. Grapefruit pith. Orange. Taste:tangerine. Grapefruit. Very bitter. Feel: very dry. Leaves a thick film in the mouth. Overall: ok beer. Need more malt. A little overly hoppy for a session beer. Just don't like the type of bitterness. First drank: home 12/2/14

probstblueribbon (3072) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 26, 2014
12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear light amber with a full, rocky, light tan head. Aroma: Smells infected...tangy, peppery herbal hops, quite lemony, moderate biscuit maltiness, has potential in an uninfected form. Palate: Medium body, with full, rounded carbonation...probably too much carbonation. Flav.: Bitter herbs (infection) with pretty big citrus notes, limited malt support, peppery; dry with fair bitterness and a lightly infected, citrus and herbal finish.

I expected better from these guys.

Malty aroma, almost has a bit of a burnt malt aroma to it. Taste is malty, roasted malt. Palate seems slightly watery for how malty it seems. Good beer, but nothing special based on the other shmaltz beers I have had, but a solid all around beer for the masses. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Got this in the bottle from Woks and Lox event in NYC. It was one of the first beers that I enjoyed throughout and made my digestive system actually enhanced from it. I love He'Brew for this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle - Definitely a session with little in terms of both hops and malt. A bit too astringent for my liking, like instead of hops they added aspirin. I didn’t find much appealing about this beer to WANT to drink several of these. I barely wanted to finish my bottle.

Bottle at Ale Mary, Baltimore, September 2014. Amber in colour with, a decent, off-white, head. Some citrus hops, sweet tangerine fruit, crisp malts and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Attractive pour. Copper body with a long lasting large bubbly off white head. Floral hops very aromatic. Almost brett type flavors. Dry finish. Some subtle nut malt in the background. Quite a nice session ale.
