4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Hoppy nose, hoppy start, hoppy finish. Very nice beer. Not too flowery, more citrus tang to it.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear light amber with a full, rocky, light tan head.
Aroma: Smells infected...tangy, peppery herbal hops, quite lemony, moderate biscuit maltiness, has potential in an uninfected form.
Palate: Medium body, with full, rounded carbonation...probably too much carbonation.
Flav.: Bitter herbs (infection) with pretty big citrus notes, limited malt support, peppery; dry with fair bitterness and a lightly infected, citrus and herbal finish.
I expected better from these guys.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Malty aroma, almost has a bit of a burnt malt aroma to it. Taste is malty, roasted malt. Palate seems slightly watery for how malty it seems. Good beer, but nothing special based on the other shmaltz beers I have had, but a solid all around beer for the masses.

Got this in the bottle from Woks and Lox event in NYC. It was one of the first beers that I enjoyed throughout and made my digestive system actually enhanced from it. I love He'Brew for this.

12oz bottle -
Definitely a session with little in terms of both hops and malt. A bit too astringent for my liking, like instead of hops they added aspirin. I didn’t find much appealing about this beer to WANT to drink several of these. I barely wanted to finish my bottle.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Ale Mary, Baltimore, September 2014. Amber in colour with, a decent, off-white, head. Some citrus hops, sweet tangerine fruit, crisp malts and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Attractive pour. Copper body with a long lasting large bubbly off white head. Floral hops very aromatic. Almost brett type flavors. Dry finish. Some subtle nut malt in the background. Quite a nice session ale.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, floral, grass, light pine, and floral/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus hops and dark/bready malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, floral, grass, pine, and floral/toasted earthiness. Fair amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, light pine, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of citrus hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice amber ale. All around good complexity and balance of citrus hops and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. bottle. Amber color with thin head. Aroma is caramel malt, mild floral and pine hops. The dry hopping is all about aromatics and it really didn’t help the flavor here in any way shape or form.
Really plain flavors, grain, caramel malt, medium bodied with a somewhat slick mouthfeel. No bitterness to speak of and overall just boring. No bottle date found on bottle but where I bought this; bottles really don’t sit around long on the shelf. But it tastes way older than I guessing it is. The neck label says it this brew won a silver medal. I only taste a swing and a miss here.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 4/20
Drank from a twelve ounce bottle. I am not a big hops fan, I purchased this because I thought it was a Genesse product, lol. The beer has nice citrus aromas and I can smell the dry-hopping. The initial taste of bread, slight malts and can really taste the complexity of the hops. Was not a fan but the taste tickles my tounge.
