COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the book of Exodus, the ancient Hebrews survived 400 years of bondage before the ultimate supreme court dropped the 10 deadly Plagues on the land of the taskmasters and the head dictator, Pharaoh. Even then, only begrudgingly, did he Let My People Go. The freedom ride across, nay through the sea left a band of wandering nomads broke and suffering, no doubt with a profound hunger – and a mighty thirst. Enter the Manna: a glorious gift to nourish body and soul. Manna was said to combine the tastes of everything most delicious to each individual, depending on their desire. And as the Good Book says, Each shall gather according to one’s need and shall enjoy a double portion for thine chosen day of rest. Manna fed the entire tribe, but tradition suggests the righteous received manna ground in a heavenly mill, while the wicked had to grind it below for themselves. Hear o’ Tribe of Shmaltz – Behold: A celebration of the flower of the craft beer revolution! A golden opportunity to feed your inner hop head and rejoice in HOP MANNA, our newest delicacy of the modern He’brew Beer family. L’Chaim! Dry Hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Citra (Centennial and Cascade in Batch 4).

Very refreshing! This was my chosen beer to take over to a friends grilling dinner! He loved it and we both agreed that this was a very refreshing and delicious IPA!

Rated on 6-11-2012 (Bottle) The appearance is an off-white medium sized semi-fizzy head with a short retention, amber hazy body, fast rising, fizzy carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is pine, grapefruit, citrus, and grassy hops. The flavor is very bitter, pine, citrus, grapefruit hops, caramel malt, and has a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. This is a hop head beer! The hops are upfront in the aroma and flavor as they should be for this beer style. It is too hoppy tasting for this non hop head, but it is worth trying.

@ PartySource / Bellevue KY --- Clear dark amber, thick off-white head, mottled bands of lace. Taste is clean sweet malt that grows in the palate, adding, first citrus, then more piney, hops. All good, so far. The weakness comes on the finish, which in my bottle, tasted more and more like pencil wood and graphite shavings. Not good.

Pours amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is a beautiful blend of citrus, pine, exotic fruits, and malts. Taste is syrupy pilsnerish malts taking the lead followed by the fruity-pine hop flavors. The finish is long with a gritty bitterness. Overall, this echoes of other HeBrew libations in its malt character - one that they do so well. Nice.

Delicious flavor. Golden brown, fruity aroma, toned down hop bitter with a great sweetness, bubbly, great! IPA Rated by CEO of Frankbrewco

Bottle. Poured large white head and lace. The aroma is purely the scents of resin and citrus hops, and the appearance is a slightly hazy reddish orange color. The flavor has some grapefruit and pine hops and some bitterness. Slightly sweet, and slightly sour, and the mouthfeel has a slick texture, bitter finish, medium body, and lively carbonation

22 oz bomber. Good quality brew just as every hebrew beer i have tasted. Good IPA actually very good but not what I feel as great. Hopes are well balanced but a bit on the weaker side. Floral taste to them with a hint of the citrus flavor found most times in IPA’s the malt used is like an old world bread.

On draft at Craftsmen. Poured hazy copper with just a thin head. Strong malty tones offset citrus flavor. Well balanced.

Bomber. Nose is intensely hoppy, gritty earthy caramel underneath with dough and some spice, some very stylish Centennial flourishes, and lingering dark toffee. Very fresh and enticing! Dull, somewhat clear red-orange body with a large and frothy beige head. Watery body is very resinous medium bitterness but extremely smooth in that department, faint citrus and oil, some orange peel and grapefruit a la Cadacade, but the doughier and more caramelous backing really fades in the mouth. Semi-dry, clean, herbal and floral notes, no booze. A bit of a change-up from Schmaltz, but I like this direction and hope they pursue it more often. I would definitely buy this again.

Très bon nez. L'amertume se fait sentir en bouche et en arrière goût. Belle fraîcheur. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
