COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the book of Exodus, the ancient Hebrews survived 400 years of bondage before the ultimate supreme court dropped the 10 deadly Plagues on the land of the taskmasters and the head dictator, Pharaoh. Even then, only begrudgingly, did he Let My People Go. The freedom ride across, nay through the sea left a band of wandering nomads broke and suffering, no doubt with a profound hunger – and a mighty thirst. Enter the Manna: a glorious gift to nourish body and soul. Manna was said to combine the tastes of everything most delicious to each individual, depending on their desire. And as the Good Book says, Each shall gather according to one’s need and shall enjoy a double portion for thine chosen day of rest. Manna fed the entire tribe, but tradition suggests the righteous received manna ground in a heavenly mill, while the wicked had to grind it below for themselves. Hear o’ Tribe of Shmaltz – Behold: A celebration of the flower of the craft beer revolution! A golden opportunity to feed your inner hop head and rejoice in HOP MANNA, our newest delicacy of the modern He’brew Beer family. L’Chaim! Dry Hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Citra (Centennial and Cascade in Batch 4).

bottle. clear amber with a medium-sized white head. orange gelatin candy and resin nose with hints of orange oil furniture polish. with the sharp resin and bold orange candy aromas I expected something full-bodied and sweet but found it more medium-light bodied (especially on the back) with only marginal sweetness. carbonation was fluffy but malt was a bit too coarse. twangy amber malt and resin with moderate bitterness, but the flavors overall are quite muted and almost neutral. when warmer, chlorine / chemical flavors combine with vegetable / dank / green hop flavors to give it an "old swimming pool" quality. the nose is certainly bold and easy to "get", but not a Hebrew product that I find myself liking much (though they do make the occasionally good beer, I admit).

Pours a clear copper/bronze with half an inch of rocky off-white head. Aroma is big bright citrus/grapefruit/pine - evidently a pretty complex mix of hops. Tasting it provides a similar bright hoppy picture, with a good malt backbone. Definitely bitter, but not aggressively so. Lovely balance.

Wow. So, this was hoppy without being overpoweringly so. Extremely smooth and easy. This is one of the better IPAs I’ve had. Awesome.

Bomber poured a clear goldn amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, skunk bud, pine resin, earthiness, grapefruit and lemon zest. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, pine, earthiness, grapefruit, lemon zest and light skunk bud with a smooth dry bitter lingering earthy grapefruit finish.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy golden orange color with a very nice 2 finger dense off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Some nice soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange rind, pine, mango, herbal, floral, grass, earth, caramel, and spiciness. Pretty nice aromas with good balance and strength. Quite dank and resinous feeling. Taste of grapefruit, pine, herbal, grass, orange rind, floral, lemon zest, earth, mango, caramel, wheat, and piny spiciness. Good amount of spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, pine, caramel, mango, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a while. Malt balance is a little weak, as this leans much more towards a pretty astringent lasting bitterness. Some pretty good flavor balance; but a little high on the spicy pine resin in my opinion. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a good IPA. A little too piny and spicy; but has some good hop flavor complexity and balance. Smooth and enjoyable to sip on with some intense hop flavor.

Beautifully colored copper beer with a huge 2+ inch head that holds to 3/4" inch of suds after settling. The aroma is enticing with tons of floral hop character and spicy and citrus backgrounds. The flavor is bitter sweet hoppy erring on the bitter side in a real good way. There’s plenty of malt but they kept it out of the way of the hops. It goes down real easy and the palate is nothing other than satisfying. This is easily one of the best beers.

Wow, it is beautiful to look at a lovely yellow/orange cloudy appearance. An aroma of mild piney hops and citrus. Flavor similar to every other IPA, disappointing, a little grapefruit and maltiness in its medium body. A dry, piney, hoppy and citrusy finish, same old IPA.

Bottle. Pours a rich gold-orange with a high, large-grained, offwhite head. the nose is herbal, with lime and cucumber overtones. Intense herbal notes on the front of the tongue, followed up with caramel and toffee; there’s a touch of smoke on the close, like burning sage smudge. Very well balanced, with a long finish. I LIKE this beer.
