In the book of Exodus, the ancient Hebrews survived 400 years of bondage before the ultimate supreme court dropped the 10 deadly Plagues on the land of the taskmasters and the head dictator, Pharaoh. Even then, only begrudgingly, did he Let My People Go. The freedom ride across, nay through the sea left a band of wandering nomads broke and suffering, no doubt with a profound hunger – and a mighty thirst. Enter the Manna: a glorious gift to nourish body and soul. Manna was said to combine the tastes of everything most delicious to each individual, depending on their desire. And as the Good Book says, Each shall gather according to one’s need and shall enjoy a double portion for thine chosen day of rest. Manna fed the entire tribe, but tradition suggests the righteous received manna ground in a heavenly mill, while the wicked had to grind it below for themselves. Hear o’ Tribe of Shmaltz – Behold: A celebration of the flower of the craft beer revolution! A golden opportunity to feed your inner hop head and rejoice in HOP MANNA, our newest delicacy of the modern He’brew Beer family. L’Chaim! Dry Hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Citra (Centennial and Cascade in Batch 4).

Hop profile with pine notes and citrus body, kind of thought it was like a Ninkasi at first.

Bottle - Amazing fruits and hops, sweet with some citrus. Orange, clear with thick creamy head. Upfront bitterness, resin and grapefruit. Smells so much better than it tastes, obviously due to dry hopping.

Nice IPA. Smoothe, and not over the top on the hops. Nice head and easy to drink.

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2013 I don’t rate anymore b/c I end up saying the same shit over and over; unless a beer is horrific or fantastic. This rating is the later. I’ve had this in bottle and really liked it. So much so that I had my guy get me a case. Then I saw it on draught at Gingerman - Dallas so I had to have it. Bottle is good but draught is delicious. Upon the first sip, me and my Thursday drinking buddy lit up as if to say "Wow"! It’s hoppy, it’s fruity, it’s well balanced, it looks great and smells great. There is a lot of stuff going on flavor-wise w/ this guy.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours clear orange with a large, foamy white head. Nose is sweet, aromatic punchbowl citrus fruits. Almost resembles a lychee martini, just a little less boozy. Some blood orange in there too. Taste is very front up citrus and zest. Loads of lemon coming through mid palate with a sharp, bitter sweet finish of lychee and grapefruit. A resinous finish. Unbalanced but damn it works well. Really enjoyable

dark clear orange, with about one and a half fingers creamy head. Big floral and tropical nose, with a slight hint of pine. Medium to light mouthfeel. The hop flavors, both tropical and bitter are showcased nicely, but the beer also has a solid malt character. Fantastic IPA.

Bomber. Nose of pungent pine, and grass. Hazy amber color, huge head, and very slow hypnotic bubbles rising. Hop bomb initial flavor; different types of bitterness along with some malt sweetness become apparent in mid palate; final hold the hops tightly against the tongue with just a bit of balance coming out. Heavy body and tongue-coating hops. Really unbalanced, But still pleasant and very drinkable.

22oz bottle in Seattle. Pretty, rich orange with tight bubbly head. Sweet resiny citrus, distinct bite of orange hops (the Citra?), Smooth, full body, with some resinous bite. Pretty tasty, but a bit metallic and harsh

Bottle at the NYS Wine and Culinary Center. Citrus and grass nose, with a bit of caramel. Deep orange to amber color. Nicely hoppy flavor, orange, grapefruit, medium malt character with a bit of caramel. Very bitter. Decent stuff.

Pours gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head recedes to skim surface. Deep pine and resin aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and resin front to back. Lasting pine finish.
