In the book of Exodus, the ancient Hebrews survived 400 years of bondage before the ultimate supreme court dropped the 10 deadly Plagues on the land of the taskmasters and the head dictator, Pharaoh. Even then, only begrudgingly, did he Let My People Go. The freedom ride across, nay through the sea left a band of wandering nomads broke and suffering, no doubt with a profound hunger – and a mighty thirst. Enter the Manna: a glorious gift to nourish body and soul. Manna was said to combine the tastes of everything most delicious to each individual, depending on their desire. And as the Good Book says, Each shall gather according to one’s need and shall enjoy a double portion for thine chosen day of rest. Manna fed the entire tribe, but tradition suggests the righteous received manna ground in a heavenly mill, while the wicked had to grind it below for themselves. Hear o’ Tribe of Shmaltz – Behold: A celebration of the flower of the craft beer revolution! A golden opportunity to feed your inner hop head and rejoice in HOP MANNA, our newest delicacy of the modern He’brew Beer family. L’Chaim! Dry Hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Citra (Centennial and Cascade in Batch 4).

Bottle at home. Hazy amber gold pour. Huge fluffy white head. It has a faint Brett aroma along with some citrus. Bretty flavors of leather, dank hops, funk, orange. Finishes bitter and earthy. Quite yeasty, I’m surprised there’s not any mention of Brett in the other reviews.

Bottle: Cloudy, light orange with a creamy, light beige head. Minty-resiny, tropical hop and fruit aroma. Taste is bright orange malt, grapefruit-peel. Tingly carbonation, lively citrus.... Very tasty bittering/sweet fruit blending. A nice one.

650 ml bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. 28JA15.

App.: Clear deep amber with a full yellowish-light tan head. Aroma: Richly fruity hops, tropical fruits, some pungent citrus and light cat pee, moderate malt support with light melanoidin, lightly sweet, quite inviting. Palate: Medium+ body, creamy carbonation. Flav.: Lots of lovely tropical fruits, a bit of cat pee and resin, minimal malt contribution; dry with decent bitterness and a slightly dusty and malty finish with good fruitiness and a healthy dose of cat pee/pungent something something.

The Citra contribution was a double-edged sword. It offered some nice aroma/flavour and also a bit of something that I don’t like.

Bought a sampler 12 pack. Not much aroma. Golden straw in color. Taste is like it was infected. Medicinal flavor. Have had other brews from them that we’re real good, others were real bad. Perhaps I just got a real bad 12 pack. The Rye IPA was very good, but this is getting dumped, just like the long shot.

Lots of wet, green hops in this one, making for a little basil and oregano in the flavor. It is similar to some of the Vermont IPAs I had recently, but a touch thinner. Good.

bottle. Pours amber with an average sized tan head. Grassy and floral hop aroma. Bitter and hoppy with plenty of floral notes. Lingering bitter finish. Not bad.

Pours a light copper color with a huge floral aroma. Taste is crisp, dry, with a front loadedhops flavor. This beer leaves a bitter aftertaste well after the swallow. Lots of garden flavors, clean bouquet taste lingers on the tongue.

Light citrus aroma with a lighter orange color. Medium cloudiness. Nice start on this with citrus tones. Smooth finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Out of a bottle, great nose if hops, not a very malty body, decent bitterness, thought I would get more hoppy flavour with all the dry hops, but wasn't quite there for me ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
