In the book of Exodus, the ancient Hebrews survived 400 years of bondage before the ultimate supreme court dropped the 10 deadly Plagues on the land of the taskmasters and the head dictator, Pharaoh. Even then, only begrudgingly, did he Let My People Go. The freedom ride across, nay through the sea left a band of wandering nomads broke and suffering, no doubt with a profound hunger – and a mighty thirst. Enter the Manna: a glorious gift to nourish body and soul. Manna was said to combine the tastes of everything most delicious to each individual, depending on their desire. And as the Good Book says, Each shall gather according to one’s need and shall enjoy a double portion for thine chosen day of rest. Manna fed the entire tribe, but tradition suggests the righteous received manna ground in a heavenly mill, while the wicked had to grind it below for themselves. Hear o’ Tribe of Shmaltz – Behold: A celebration of the flower of the craft beer revolution! A golden opportunity to feed your inner hop head and rejoice in HOP MANNA, our newest delicacy of the modern He’brew Beer family. L’Chaim! Dry Hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Citra (Centennial and Cascade in Batch 4).

Out of a bottle, great nose if hops, not a very malty body, decent bitterness, thought I would get more hoppy flavour with all the dry hops, but wasn't quite there for me ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I have searched high and low for this beer. Literally scouring stores and I finally randomly found 6 bottles the other day and bought all of them. It was a gamble and I am so happy I did. It really is an exceptional IPA. Really really hoppy, like crazy hoppy. Really grassy aroma but the taste is just so much pine, grapefruit and hoppy glory. This beer is so bitter in a great way. It has so much complexity and depth. It’s just so easy to drink. One of the better IPA’s I have had. I’m glad that after all my searching it turned out to be so good. I highly recommend this one to anyone who is into IPA.

Roasted malt aroma with some piney hops. Taste is roasted malt balanced nicely with the hops. Bitter dry finish. Descent shmaltz beer but nothing mind blowing. Good all around ipa, but more on the malty side with the piney resinous finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

another ipa on tap at my local bar. fresh and pungent, not mouth coating but certainly on ipa style. not as viscous as most yet retains much of that ipa bullshit thing for the whole session. fresh smelling with a little b/o in there. of course, like most ipa, could use a few more manners. yes, comes across fresh on this tap and therefore is a little more enjoyable compared to many run of the mill eye-pahs.

Okay. Not my kind of IPA. I prefer a simpler, lighter grain bill so the emphasis is much more on the hops. There are malt flavors that taste well, but battle the hops. Overall, I like it, but simply don’t prefer all those different malts.

Bottle from Meditrina. Clear bright copper with lasting offwhite head and lace. Floral citrus and spice aroma. Mild bready toffee sweetness with assertive rind and pine bitterness with a reprise of melon and biscuit sweetness in the finish. Medium body aggressive carbo. Very good.

I must have gotten a old bottle of this, because this thing was cheese-ified to the max. No resemblance of an IPA whatsoever. I will definitely re-rate when another bottle is purchase...if another bottle is purchased. Blech.

Hugely hopped beers are either unpalatable or they make to the other side and transcend the bitterness of hops and enter into a new flavour profile which can now longer be called piney or citrusy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a new 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy orange-golden with a thick off-white head that settles to a thick ring and film, leaving lots of spotty, soapy hanging lace. Nose involves some dank herbal earthy stuff, some caramel, plenty of pine and some tropical fruit. Pretty sweet flavor, but also quite bitter. Medium bodied, oily, sticky, resinous, finishing on the dry side. Very nice, a beer I’ve walked past many times but digging the new format. Not a huge citra bomb, but it’s in there and I like the blend with the less trendy cascade and centennial.

Tap at yard house. Copper with small white head and good lacing. Piney and floral, resin aroma. Slightly sweet taste for an ipa. Floral and crisp. Pretty Tasty.
