3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a bomber pours a perfect copper body with a huge fluffy head. This IPA was special, the aroma was among the fruitiest I have ever encountered. Aromas were FULL of grapefruit, lemon zest and fresh hops with a hint of toffee. The flavor was crisp and clean with a rush of smooth malts, honey, grapefruit and light grassy notes. Left the mouth a little sticky and with a lingering hop aftertaste. I love He’Brews’ approach on this beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Earthy and leafy hop aroma with a subtle spice and citrus smell. Deep amber color with a huge foam top. Strong bittering hops upfront with a light spicey finish. Slight malty flavors coushioning the strong hop taste. Overall, this is a flavorful India Pale Ale with noticable bitter hop flavor and a creamy malt background and light carbonation. I’d give this an A rating.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The beer pours a slightly hazy orange color with a large white head. The aroma is full of orange, grapefruit and pine, with a little bit of biscuit malt. Overall, this is a very hop forward smelling beer, as expected. The flavor is has a lot of the same notes. The grapefruit and resin work very well together and are complimented by a hint of orange citrus. There is a little bit of sweetness from the biscuit malt which keeps the bitterness in the low to medium range. Easy to drink. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
