3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear red/orange color. Aroma is grapefruit forward with a lot of pine behind it. Bitter but soft on the palate. Getting a little pith and touch of leafy green in the taste. It lingers on the the roof of the mouth too.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
fine aroma of resin & citrus with distant caramel. a little thin in the mouth, and while the thinness continues into the flavor it still maintains a just barely balanced hop edge, resiny grapefruit, an almost sour edge and that invisible sweetness balancing, Like all He Brews its assertive, and here in a (relatively) lighter format it proves quite muscular, warming.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy. Deep orange with a long lasting head. Aroma is sweet, with strong notes of pine and papaya and guava. Flavour is sweet, very sweet, with tropical fruit hop character and medium bitterness. These guys know how to rock out complex malty beers but still haven’t quite mastered the IPA thing.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
4/14/12. 22oz bottle. Clear very light amber pour, bordering on burnt orange, with a small frothy head that sticks and laces quite a bit. Bold hoppy aroma with a ton of pine, a hint of sour grapefruit, and some caramel maltiness. Surprisingly sweet flavor, not much hoppy bitterness, and plenty sweet caramel, along with sweet black tea. Ugh. Old hops and crystal malts. It’s disappointing because when you read the ingredients, you expect something awesome and then it falls flat.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle 4/13/12 (Binny’s Downers Grove)-42° in Shaker-Pours a c;ear light orangish amber with a small loose off white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Taste of hops ad more hops with a bit o malt. This medium bodied brew is much tastier than Batch #2( which was still tasty). Great job.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Connecticut Ave again. Pours a deep amber, good foam lacing and residing calmly on top of pour. Aroma is mega-sweet, a little off-putting. Taste then is surprisingly watery in the early palate, followed by somewhat cloyingly malty sweetness and then a mildly bitter hop finish. Not bad, but a bit of a muddled brew, weak where it should be strong (hop presence) and too much malt-sugar-sweetness. Body and mouthfeel are both also too thin. Good to try, but not a regular for me.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Bronze amber with a solid white head. Nose is sweet and cheesy, a good chunk of resin, grassy and herbal. Flavor is similar, sweet and bitter, some pine, citrus, lots of bitter resin and sugary. Sounded promising but alas it doesn’t really work. Some diacetyl creeps in as it warms a bit.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden orange pour with a thin white head. The aroma has a nice bright citrus aroma. A little bit of orange and some light pine and grapefruit. A little bit of soft peppery character as well as touch of lemon peel as well. Fresh and hoppy with a little bit of malt just backing up the hoppiness. Bright and fresh. Lovely stuff.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours with a lightly hazed copper hued body with a medium white head. Huge dank aromas, citrus, resin, sweet, floral, pungent, grapefruit, sweet, caramel, alcohol, hops, mild esters. Really fresh smelling (should be as it is brand new). Flavors are off. Plastic, wet dog, bad malt, medium bitter with lots of tangerine. Soapy and detergent like. Pine. Very soapy, dry, light vegital. Lively bubbles, medium bodied.
