A - Clear amber body with a billowy off-white head that leaves a few patches of lace behind. S - Sweet caramel malt, doughy bread, honey, mineral-like aroma. T - A blend of agressive pine, grapefruit, and leafy green hops hit all at once. The caramel malt keeps things sweet while the hops turn to a resinous grapefruit bitterness with spicy, minty, salty, and dry finish. M - Medium body, moderate carbonation. The nose is deceiving, this beer is aggressively hopped with several layers of bitterness. The hops showcase more bitterness than flavor. Serving type: bottle 08-31-2011

This bottle pours a slightly opaque copper gold with a bubbly off white head. The nose is very reminiscent of other West coast IPA ’s, floral, citrus. rus, sweet, hoppy with a malt background. At the first taste I was anticipating a lot given the nose, it fell flat, very flat. Slight grapefruit and pineapple with a malty finish; I want bitter lasting tingling hops from something dry hopped with all those West coast hops. It’s just an OK garden variety West Coast style IPA.

Cloudy orange color, filmy head. Smells like iced tea which to me usually indicates its old, shit. Taste is mostly malts, no hops. I suspected when I got home that this was broken out of the holiday pack and resold. Dammit. I guess this is what I get for buying an undated IPA. Drainpour... Bottle. Deep amber, low transparency, small head. Aroma is a hoppy, fruity, and estery dream. Taste follows accordingly. A little malt sweetness tries to find its way, but this is dominated by hops. Great beer when you are in need of a good dose of hops.

650mL bottle to 4oz taster Aroma of fruits, flowers, and grapefruit. Nice amber colour with a thin white head. The taste is nice but disappointing considering the aroma.

Clear dark orange with almost no head. Big hop aroma makes one anticipate something awesome only to find sort of bland west coast hop flavors backed by a slightly sweet med body ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle ’11 Gift pack 4/13/12 (Binny’s Downers Grove Singles Rack)-40° in Shaker-Pours a hazy light orangish amber with a small white head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of hops and malt. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down easy. Nice job.

Thanks to Cavie for sharing this bottle. The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is fairly straightforward, with some nice tropical fruit notes and some bread from the malt. The flavor is a lot more complex. I get some nice grapefruit and orange notes up front, with some pineapple coming through a little bit later. I also get some grass and swe floral and perfume notes from the hops, as well as a little bit of candy sweetness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bomber. Wonderful citrus aroma. Crystal clear dark golden color. Large light tan head. Medium bitter from start to finish. Head stays around but little lacing. Nice IPA to have in the spring in the shade. Amazing that the head is there the whole beer. Love it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
