Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 5, 2007 Bottled. An amber-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt as well as alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, metal, prunes, hard roasted malt, and oxidation, leading to a metallic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 25, 2006 Bottled. Very dark ruby - near black, aveage head. Grapefruity nose. A tarry flavour jumps in my face at first sip. Near full bodied with clean mouthfeel. Licorice dominates. A very extrovert beer with direct, sharp flavours and inky finish. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 2, 2007 (Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a light brown head. Somewhat vinous, port-like nose with a touch of wood. Full body with roasted malts and again some woody accents. Notes of dried fruit and a slightly raw bitterness in the finish. But overall quite interesting. 301107 joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 3, 2007 Bottle.
