Very dark. Full-bodied with soft carbonation. The aroma hints at citrus hops, but this is mostly malty. Choclatey, roasty, with dark fruits underneath. Finish kicks in with some bitter hops, but that’s relatively minor, and keeps it dry. It’s hard to do more than sip it. Good value at $5+ a bomber.

Bottled - tasted blind. A deep red beer with a disappearing tan head. The aroma is very sweet malty with strong notes of caramel as well as medium notes of alcohol, and lighter notes of whiskey and wood. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, alcohol and lighter notes of roasted bread, chocolate, adn medicin, leading to a very dry and bitter finish.

Pours a dark brown color with a tan head. Has a nice balance of all the different hops and malts. Is bitter with the taste of syrup and chocolate. The alcohol is well hidden in the beer!
