BeerFanDan17 (348), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA May 10, 2008 Wow. This was bordering on a barley wine with its strength. A rich and strong ale with an almagam of flavors from dark fruits to coffee and chocolate. Its very diverse and very tasty.
sk8viking (6070), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 Bottle. A dark red beer with a big beige head. The aroma is of yeast, dark fruits, glue and alcohol, the taste is much the same just without the glue. Medium body with a alcoholic finish. uhre (226), Denmark Aug 1, 2008 Dark with a bit of red. The aroma is of dark fruit with roasted barley and caramel. Flavor is of dark fruit, caramel and a coffee aftertaste. McGarnigle (155), Rochester, New York, USA Jul 31, 2008 Very dark. Full-bodied with soft carbonation. The aroma hints at citrus hops, but this is mostly malty. Choclatey, roasty, with dark fruits underneath. Finish kicks in with some bitter hops, but that’s relatively minor, and keeps it dry. It’s hard to do more than sip it. Good value at $5+ a bomber. KimJohansen (2904), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jul 30, 2008 Dark brown with medium dark beige head. Swwet aromaen with roasted malt, coffee and mild chocolate notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, hops, caramel and coffee notes. Ends bitter. Papsoe (9951), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 30, 2008 (Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of FlacoAlto.
