3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
650ml bottle pours a dark brown color with a small white head that leaves very little lacing on the glass. Aroma is light chocolate and brown sugar with a strong dose of alcohol. Taste is a chocolate and malty sweetness with a herbal hoppy bitterness with notes of alcohol burn in the finish. Considering all the malts and hops in this brew, it is not as complex as it should be, it is quite basic in taste and aroma.

Shared at thirdeye11ís birthday party.
The beer pours a dark brown color with a small head. The aroma is full of brown sugar and alcohol. The flavor is more of the same and is pretty much exactly what I remember from previous Jewbelation beers. I get a ton of brown sugar, toffee and caramel, as well as a tremendous amount of booze. Definitely a beer that you only need a few ounces of.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft... Pours dark and clear with no head. The aroma is a fruity, caramely jumble of fragrances. Full-bodied and sticky with restrained carbonation. The flavor is painfully sweet, boozy and hearty with a moderately bitter off-flavor that I canít quite nail down. Metallic finish. How many malt and hop varietals are too many? Oh, about sixteen, I guess.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured the HeíBrew Jewbilation Sweet Sixteen 16th Anniversary Ale into a tulip glass from a 22oz bomber. My bottle is marked as a ďCalifornian Edition,Ē but with some research I found that this is a label difference only. Pours completely opaque black. Chocolatey brown head with minimal retention (not surprising at 16% ABV). Chocolate, coffee, toffee, caramel in the nose. This beer is an absolute malt bomb; it is a definite sipper. Itís complex and roasty, with lots of coffee, toffee, and caramel notes. There is a definite, expected alcohol burn. Thick and velvety. Definite alcohol burn. Smooth, minimal carbonation (expected when dealing with this big of a beer). Outstanding. I canít really say much more than that. This is a great beer.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
(650ml bottle) Purchased at Hillside Liquors. Pours a small brown foam head atop a black body. Molasses aroma and bourbon whiskey, burnt brown sugar. Vanilla, wood Oak cask, heavy dark malts and burning alcohol. Last time I had an high ABV beer like this was Avery Beast which polluted my palate for days - this Hebrew beer however is nice. Hidden alcohol behind acres of malt, honey and bitter coffee. This beer is fantastic, absolutely wonderfully concocted. Kudos!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle. Iím a little surprised by the ratings - I found this beer absolutely outstanding. Insanely complex - like drinking a top notch imperial stout. The drinkability is maybe the most impressive, could not believe itís 16%. Maybe the most impressive beer Iíve tried in 2012. Big fan!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours deep brown with a thick cream tan head. Aroma is sweet, lots of dark fruit, molasses and brown sugar, a touch smokey with some nut and fig notes. Flavor starts sweet and sugary with a lot of caramel, molasses, sweet cake, fig and raisin. Medium full to full body and a soft carbonation. Big beer
