Sample from a 22oz bottle. Says "Sweet 16" across the front, labeled 11.8%. Very dark red / brown color, but not completely opaque. Little brown head, good dots of lace. Good chocolate aroma, very very roasty, with little coffee. Little molasses. Definitely leans towards the imp. stout side. Wow, pretty impressive. I didn’t care for Jewbelation 15, it was too boozy for me. But the roast aromas are able to stand up to the ABV in this year’s version. Taste is bitter, little sweet, with some heat, though no burn. Maybe a little warm feeling after getting halfway through. Big body, light carbonation, very dry texture. Gotta admire the way schmaltz sticks to their gimmicks.

Bottle. Poured a brown not a huge head and not much carb. Tastes and smell heavy booze some dark fruit caramel. Hops not so much but the mt was over the top almost too much. It was sweet with some booze heat. I liked it but was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of malt.

Had this at the 2012 Great American Beer Fest in Denver, Colorado. Nice bourbon scents, taste is a bit too sweet, almost like cotton candy.

Dark brown pour, and a very small brown head. Aroma is sweet and very cloying. It has 16 malts and 16 hops, well the malts dominate big time. Sweet fruits, molasses, brown sugar, plums. 2 oz was MORE than enough.
