Brown pour with thick head. Aroma is rye bread toast, at least it seems that way to me. Light malty flavour, the barrel doesn’t smack you in the face, ek se. Sweetish finish.

(tap) clear brown colour with a small brown head; faint aroma of stewed fruit; light smokey and fruity flavour, watery palate; bit strange, not bad
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Gr0ve (2038) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 7, 2012
Black and red with brown hues. Slightly oxidized notes. Light roasted malts, but only a little. Medium bodied. Fairly clean with light hops. Reminds me a little of a schwartzbier.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 gregwilsonstl (664) - USA - MAR 16, 2012
Very kosher tasting beer. Quick fermentation, almost like the yeast took three days to rise. Dark amber color, just like the messiah.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Syzzer (449) - Oregon, USA - FEB 7, 2012
Good brown, not great. It has a medium body but there is no solid lingering flavor.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 hivemind (657) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 29, 2011
Draft at Taproom 307 with Andy, James, Streets, Annie. Pours dark with a dark red hue. Thin mouthfeel with great flavors of slightly-sour red fruits and charred wood. Kind of a graceful blend of a sour/fruit beer and a stout. Great balance and not much booze on the palate. This was brewed with care and expertise.

On tap at taproom307. Ultra delicate brew, bourbon tang, vanilla, soft orange and crisp peppercorn/rye in finish.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Slipstream (1775) - USA - DEC 20, 2011
First rating of this! On draft at Tap Room No. 307. A lightly smoky, dry ale - malty with a dash of esters - not too intense. Not sure what it was aged in, but it did not seem to have a powerful effect on the brew. It may have mellowed it a bit. Good, but not a superior barrel-aged effort.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 deyholla (4787) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 19, 2011
Sampled from the tap at NotB. Poured near clear amber brown with an off-white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma had a good amount of rye, some slight spice, sweet grains, a bit of light fruit and a hint of alcohol. Flavor had smooth rye with some light spice with light fruits and caramel and a bit of alcohol coming out in the finish.
