Pours dark reddish brown with a mostly receding tan wispy head. Aroma of dark bread, rye, caramel, molasses and toasted malt. Taste of chocolate, caramel, bready and crispy crackery malt. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. A very nice brown ale.

Bottle. Amber color, offwhite head. Malty chocolate aroma, a bit unfresh. Roasted malt flavor, a bit too thin.

Deep brown in color with small light tan foamy head. Sweet malty aroma with a little hops. Sweet slightly syrupy taste with toasty coffee/chocolate flavor and easy finish. Smooth and light/medium mouthfeel.

Pours a hazy brown with a fizzy tan head. Nice hoppy aroma with hints of nuts and coffee. Good flavor too, roasty nuts and chocolate with a bitter finish. Above average.

Brown , cloudy appearance, and a thin head made this beer not much to look at. The smell was pretty good, as wisps of cocoa, toffee, and nuts were detected. Hop aroma was surprisingly well represented as well. Taste was woody, dry, and a little astringent. Hops were mild here and were like a light dash of spice. Mouthfeel was a little rougher than I would have preferred, as a chalky aftertaste kept popping up. Well made and enjoyable, but certainly not a second coming.

Bottle, Alibi Room
Red-accented brown. Fruity nose - raspberry and some chocolate notes. Thin body, light fruitiness and insipid coffee. Not exactly my kind of beer.
