3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice dark aroma with a smooth chocolate taste. Pours a dark brown/black with a light off white head. Taste is roasty and chocolaty.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hard to smell anything, faint notes of roasted malt and chocolate and a nice dark brown color. The head is quick to thin to a crown of tan foam. The body is a bit thin and the flavor is subdued but average with caramel, chocolate, and coffee notes. Not too bad and certainly not offensive, very easy to drink.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Iíd like to be able to rate this higher but this happens to be a style that I personally donít like. The malts are well-roasted but are thrown together with the hops leading to a product which, although fresh and assertive, is nasty and negatively bitter in a subjective sense. Iíve had bad luck with a certain type of brown ale in the past and this is the epitome of that type -- itís an unofficial drainpour in fact (I tossed it), though generically itís a well-crafted product which brings it over the 1.0 in my book.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark brown slight to nonexistent head. Familiar cola wet bark aroma and nice malt backgrounds. Not nearly as nice as Dogfish Head Indian Brown - personal opinion - because of less hops.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
No expectations at all. Never heard of this beer. Pours a dark brown. Little to no aroma (it was pretty cold). Flavor has some suprising roastiness. Itís not too bad, but I wouldnít pay for it. Itís drinkable tho, and I could certainly drink a few of these if I needed to. I sampled this after drinking several larger beers, imperial stouts and such, so maybe I missed out on all the flavor this has to offer, Iíll have to revisit this brew.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Alright beer, got it from my buddy Drew. Dark color, but with barely an aroma what so ever! Not to much flavor as well....no the chosen beer!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from 12 oz., dark brown with small tan head. Nose of raisins, sweet malt, with just a bar hint of hops. Taste is cola like, easy to drink, not too memorable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle pours very dark brown with tan head. Sweet aroma of caramal and toasted malts. Flavors of charred wood, molasses, and a hint of caramelized sugar.
