Bottle: pours deep, dark red with a tan head. Sweet, carmelly aromas with some raisins and toastiness. Great flavor, raisins and delicious malts. This is a solid beer.

2013 bottle into a pint glass. Color is a translucent amber brown with a sudsy tan head. Aroma is very light, sweet malt. Taste is pretty straight forward, lightly sweet roasted malt and some hops bitterness. Medium wet mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12 oz bottle a deep brown with a slight reddish tint and a small tan head. Aroma was of roasted malts and hops. Flavor was roasted (almost burnt) malts with a good hop finish (coffee like) as the beer comes up in tempature turns more towards a bitter chocolate. Overall not a bad brew.

Nice aroma, head doesn’t hang around long, thin mouthfeel. Lots of chocolate, sweet malt, hops to balance. A nice brown ale, but I wish it had more mouthfeel to it. I’d like to try it on tap, might improve my rating.

Surprised by the low reviews for this one. Tastes like a dark brown ale. A little to carbonated for me, but a very enjoyable beer.

12-oz bottle. Cute marketing. Clear dark brown color with a medium foamy head. Good lacing on the glass. Aroma is like a baby porter. Sweet malts with some dark fruit tinges. A mild roasty and pleasant aroma. Taste was sweet and creamy. Delicious in the front of the mouth. Tiny sour notes on the finish. Finished clean and relatively quick. Body is light to medium. Texture is watery. Very drinkable. A nice brown ale.

Brune aux reflets rouges. Arômes de malt, de caramel et de noix. En bouche, elle est très maltée avec des notes de chocolat. En finale, on perçoit des notes de caramel et de noisettes. Très légère.

Very nice reddish-brown body. Pleasant aroma with a uniquely delicious nut-brown ale taste. Hop finish that was not overpowering, but heavily prevalent. Caramel flavors were also present. I was pleasantly suprised with this one.

From a 12 oz bottle. Color is dark chestnut brown. Frothy thick off white head that diminished to a thin layer that left solid lacing on the glass. There isn’t much aroma when it’s cold, but when it warms its roasted nuts. It reminds me of the holidays. Medium carbonation that leaves the mouth clean. Taste is simple. Roasted malt and nuts. The finish is slightly dry. Very drinkable. But nothing over the top. I would drink again. Thanks for sharing AirForceHops.
