Bottle courtesy of CigarCityBrew. This beer aged very welll. Pours a dark ruby with a brownish head.Aroma reminds me of a porter, lightly smokey/roasted, chocolate / toffee malt. Taste is thick and sugary, very sweet, filled with nice flavors. Alcohol was noticable. Highly enjoyable and drinkable.

My bottle (22oz) shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev & garthicus -- courtesy of gunhaver. Pours a very deep ruby with a small diminishing frothy beige head. Nice aroma (7+) of toasted caramel malt, brown sugar, dark fruit and some mild grassy hops. Flavour of dark fruit, some nuts, lightly roasted malt and a light bitter finish. Quite fruity and sweet. Average bodied. Better then I expected, I liked it.

Bottle shared with Blankboy, Hogtown Harry, and Garthicus, Blankboy’s bottle. Very dark brown, big foamy brown head. Mild malt aroma, slightly sweet. Taste features lots of dark fruit (prunes), lots of molasses like sweetness, very fruity. Like a really kicked up brown ale. I enjoyed it, these guys usually offer something unique to go along with the marketing angle

Thanks Blankboy!! Pours ruby red with a small head. Coffee-toffee-raisin aroma; coffee flavour with figs and almonds with a smooth coffee ice-cream finish

Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, garthicus and tupalev, blankboy’s bottle. Deep ruby-brown pour, small frothy diminishing off-white head. Roast sweet malt, hint of molasses, dry, slightly lactic. Tastes same, more fruit (raisin and prune), some herbal bitterness and alcohol as it warms. Sticky, decently thick body, mildly astringent and a little fruit-acidic in the finish - solid, actually, I really liked this. Thanks, Paul!
