COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with the juice of over 10,000 luscious pomegranates, ORIGIN is a complex, rich and balanced Imperial Amber Ale with a truly unique character. The pomegranate juice is added during fermentation, leaving only the residual sugars, which serve to balance the hop bitterness.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2013 Smells like pomegranite but taste is more like a lager. Pretty good, but nothing too spectacular.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. This is an aged example of the beer. The aroma is vinous, woody, with a hint of tartness in the background. The flavor is malty, toffee, fruity, hints of tartness. Not a bad beer, would be better fresh.

Appearance: very hazy darker amber color, small tan head that dissipates quickly Aroma: malty caramel, pretty faint, pomegranate Taste: deep roasted malt, almost a coffee flavor, some pomegranate Palate: higher carbonation, leaves an alcohol and slightly pomegranate aftertaste, Overall: very big let down for me, I guess the flavor of the pomegranate is not citrusy enough, it tastes like alcohol ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy amber pour with a thin ring of white head .... aroma of caramel malts, orange, sweet over ripe fruity yeast, sugary and light orange ..... taste is of dry pomegranate, sweet and over ripe fruity yeast, caramel malts and a light bitter hop bite .... has some citrusy orange overtones as well .... finish is dry and bitter .... abv is hidden well

Fresh at the daily pint, I actually really enjoyed this beer, easy to drink, chocolate and coffee notes

Interesting pomagranite flavor. Poured from a bomber. Solid mouthfeel; bready/grain finish. Finishes with slight burnt flavor and bitter w/alc. 8.45 BD 7-11-12. 8 Joek

22 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a large off white head. The aroma is pomegranate juice, herbal and earthy notes, caramel, with a dusty quality. The flavor is mild to moderate sweet malts, caramel, pomegranate juice, with some herbal and earthy hops. It is a bit thinner than most of the Hebrew beers Iíve had. Just ok.

The appearance is a hazy auburn color with a large off-white head, and the aroma consists of caramel malts, dough yeast, and a general fruity sourness (which isnít specifically pomegranate). When sipped, the taste is quite sour, but this is nicely balanced against a mild sweetness and the overall mouthfeel, which is comprised of a medium body, average carbonation, slick texture, and a finish that isnít sour whatsoever but is still malty and long.

Bottle - Caramel, sweet malts, boozey, more like a barley wine. Clear copper no head. Boozey and tastes like a barley wine. Spicy and lots of burn, not sure what they were going for, not that great.

This beer has a cloudy brown appearance and sweet fruity aroma. It is slightly bitter with a hint of sweet summer fruit. It is like a brown crossed with a fruit infused beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
