2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
~Caramel malty bready aroma with light spicy hops and light fruitiness.
~Pours a hazy amber with bubbly white head that disappears quickly
~Bitter and tart taste up front with breadiness and light caramel. Bitterness and tart dominates. Not really getting any pomegranate flavors.
~Medium bodied, medium CO2, lingering not so enjoyable bitter spice finish.
~Not a fan of this beer. The bitter and tart combo is not really enjoyable. Almost unable to drink this 12 oz.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This poured a dark amber color with a white head. The aroma contain dark fruit likely the poms used to make it. The flavor is sour more than sweet with dark fruits, caramel, and cherries maybe? Some herbal notes showing up in the finish which also showcases some booze. Overall this beer was alright.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear amber with a small light brown head. The nose is weak with only some mild fruity undertones. The flavor is bitter and a little meaty, almost chewy. But the palate is lighter, a bit fizzy and astringent.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Mild sweet aroma, pours a light amber with a moderate white head and visible carbonation. The pomegranate comes through in the finish, with a touch of tartness, and very little hop bitterness. Very light on the palate, with the 8% ABV well hidden. It’s an interesting beer, not sure if I’m going to go out of my way to get it again.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle @ home, picked up at Argonaut Denver. Pours a bit hazy maroon appearance with an off white head. Juicy cherry, berry, pomegranate, light herbal bitter aroma. Tangy caramel, cherry, pomegranate, herbal, a touch woody, a bit strong flavor. Bleh.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle, purchased a while back in the Hebrew Gift Set. Pours a cloudy brownish amber color with no real head to speak of. Aroma is fruity, pomegranate, maybe a little boozy. A little heavy on the palate with light carbonation. Flavor is sweet, fruity, tart pomegranate, a little bready, a little boozy, with a light, sweet-tart finish. Interesting. Probably won’t be a staple in my fridge.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma of sour yeast, berries and a light chocolate malt. Pours hazy and red with ultra white head. Taste is tart and awful. Baking soda, yeast up front with a bitter pomegranate behind it all. Very unenjoyable.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a moderate-to-thick white head. Nose is rather fruity from the pomegranates. Taste is also fruity and slightly sour. Meh.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
on tap pours dark amber / orange brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of citrus fruits, pomegranate (obviously), mango, and citrus hops. Flavour is pretty muted - the aforementioned fruits, with a bitter tangy finish. Palate is dry and not overly complex. Decent attempt but I’d say it’s off the mark.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle as shown. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt and pomegranate. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop and light pomegranate flavor with nice lingering bitter finish. A good fruit beer from Shmaltz.
