3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 beastiefan2k (1921) - Lawrence (formely NYC), USA - MAR 24, 2007
Another Hebrew "pomegranate" beer, which means all hops and no pomes. Poured into a Cantillon rounded goblet with almost no head, color is dark copper with a good amount of clarity. Aroma is all hop with resiny cherry and grapefruit. Ttaste is a more watered down version with some cheap tasting caramel. A medium bitterness kicks in at the end. Overall comes out as a cheap DIPA, which would be normal considering Jeremy is calling this an Imperial Amber. I feel empty and cheated in the end.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mcmisko (279) - New York, USA - JUN 1, 2012
Pours amber with some red tints. Tan fizzy head. Smells like dark fruits and malts. Taste not too fruity, like a solid lager with dark sugars and hints of dark fruit. Not too bad for a fruit beer.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 celogan (199) - Oroville, California, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Wasn’t too sure what expect keel bottle!
This poured dark copper with quickly evaporating head
It lingered slightly throuout with minimal lacing
Very slight fruity nose with hints of malt
Moderate mouth feel medium carbonation
Flavor was not a "fruit beer" taste just hints of pomegranate toasted malt almost bready taste
No real hop presence that I could detect
If you like a non hoppy slight fruity flavor this one is for you
If you are a hopheads like me then
You will be disappointed
This isn’t a bad beer but I won’t get it again
If you
Like a non hoppy fruity beer go for it
Hebrew took a commendable stab at it but just not what I love
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sammer (752) - Plano, Texas, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Taste is boozy and bready, with some malt and hay thrown in. Unique and interesting.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 bootsjohn (35) - Texas, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Bomber poured into snifter. Transparent dark amber with a one finger white head. Smells of pomegranate, cereal grain, and poorly hidden alcohol. As it warms,it becomes more palatable, but is still fairly harsh. Lots of pomegranate and booze are the main players. Reminds me of a better (though not by much) Killian’s.

Pours red amber with minimal head. Pomegranate is much more noticeable in the aroma than the taste. Otherwise not all that interesting of an ale but at least it’s not syrupy sweet.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 rougeau13 (1222) - Texas, USA - MAY 3, 2012
Clear amber with a reddish tint and an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, bready malt, light pomegranate and citrus. Taste is well balanced; somewhat bitter, and fruity but not too sweet. Medium bodied, average carb.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 fluffy (598) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - APR 24, 2012
while it looks nice, the flavor and aroma was of dry stale hops and not much else. didnt taste much in the way of pomegranates, just tasted one dimensional. swing and a miss.

Pours an amber brown with off white head. Nose is a bit funky and fruity. Taste is of a fairly middle of the road red/brown ale with a nice fruit compliment. I think the pomegranate actually makes the beer better than the base would be without it. Decent worth trying if you happen upon it.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 garth_86 (43) - EDMONTON, Alberta, CANADA - APR 8, 2012
Amber red pour with off white head which goes away pretty fast. Nose: caramel, bread, raisin, not much pomegranate. Taste is almost the same, was expecting more pomegranates, if the label didn’t say it was there i might not of found it. Not a beer for me.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 reebtogi (2191) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 5, 2012
650ml bomber pours amber in color with a 2 finger off-white head that settles down to leave a small amount of lacing on the glass. Aroma is pomegranate with some caramel and light chocolate malts with a moderate hoppy bitter finish. Taste is pomegranate fruit with some caramel and chocolate with an earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied with some nice carbonation leaving a nice feeling on the tongue. A very nice fruit beer with some kick to it.
