COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with the juice of over 10,000 luscious pomegranates, ORIGIN is a complex, rich and balanced Imperial Amber Ale with a truly unique character. The pomegranate juice is added during fermentation, leaving only the residual sugars, which serve to balance the hop bitterness.

Clear, ripe red appearance, under lacey off-white head. Lovely aromatics! Bright fruit, lush malt, plentiful, but not prominent, hops. Malt is king, and fruit is...queen, I’d guess? Beauty on the tastebuds, once slipped onto the tongue and into the belly! Slick, supple, sensuous, delicious! Juicy malt, tasty fruit, tantalizing hops...gorgeous! 8% abv not felt, really...yet. "Imperial Amber Ale"...yup, that says it..."brewed with luscious promegranate juice"...nothing much else to say, but, thumbs up!

Piney hops, pomegranate and pineapple on the nose. Medium bodied with the upfront taste of pomegranate and then a nice balance of malt and hops leaving a slightly bitter finish. The pomegranate isn’t overwhelming making for a good fruit beer.

Pours a reddish copper color with white head and little lacing. Aromas of maltiness, caramels and earthiness. Taste has some sweetness, some tart notes. Very little bitterness. Palate is dry, not overly carbonated. Overall, a pretty decent beer. I don’t taste much pomegranate, but nonetheless, a nice tasting beer.

12 oz bottle from the Holiday Sampler pack. Pours hazy burnt orange with a medium cream-colored dissipating head. Aroma is malty, fruity, a bit funky. Taste is lightly sweet and faintly tart with a slightly dry bitter finish. Carbonation is soft, body is medium. Good.

Bottle. Pours orange with a small ivory head. Aroma is really nice, fresh bread and the pomegranate shows up. Flavor is malty and sweet, fruit is a bit nondescript and in the background, but pleasant enough.

22oz bottle, $5 at Dutch’s. Clear orange color, light-tan head. Spots of lace.Nice, caramel malt and fruity (I assume pomegranate?) aroma. Awesome smooth and crisp carbonation, good dryness. Easy to drink and refreshing. Enjoyable with a meal. Nice interesting fresh sweet taste, both tart and zesty. A great fruit beer.

Pours orange-amber into a tulip. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to hint rim. Sweet pomegranate and caramel aromas. Medium bodied with sweet pomegranate and caramel upfront turning to an earthy bitter pith finish.

Tap @ Red Hot. Hazy brownish-gold pour with a short white head leaving moderate lace. Spicy, fruity nose. Medium body and carbonation. Caramel and ripe fruit malt, pomegranate, walnuts and cinnamon. Finishes a bit lightweight, but nicely balanced between sweet, tart, bitter and umami.
