Bomber pours crystal clear amber with tan head. The aroma starts initially with sweet malts, a touch of roastiness and sweet ripe cherries before the fig notes quickly surface and overtake the nose. Then I get hints of that classic HeBrew pomegranate fruitiness with faint tartness way in the back. The flavor unfolds in very much the same way the nose did with an initial pulse of sweet malts, sweet ripe cherries mixed with malt roastiness. Then the fig notes join the fun followed by pomegranate juice fruitiness and tartness that seem to go along with just a bit of drying malt astringency at the finish.

Pours dark cherry red with a small off-white head. Big sweet caramel cherry nose, figs, and cola. Flavor is similar, big sweetness up front, hops in the finish to balance. Coats the palate with a drawn out plum and fig flavor. Finish is a bit spicy that gives it a light dubbel quality, add some Belgian yeast esters and it would make an interesting dubbel/quad.

Deep copper amber, moderate ecru head with decent retention. Aroma of fig jam, prunes, and a slight rummy/boozy quality. Palate delivers all that is promised in the nose. Medium bodied, medium sweetness, with a (you guessed it) medium bitter finish that is a little hot.

Murky burgundy; thin head. Full and rewarding on the tongue. Rich malt flavors filled with molasses and toffee, plus a cornucopia of fruit flavors (fig, apple, pear, raisin). Nice amount of earthy-grassy hops to boot. Another tasty He’Brew.

Clear cherry body with a small creamy off-white head. Sweet caramel, fruit, light hopping. Very sweet fruit and caramel, almost sugary. Medium full body with moderately low carbonation and a very smooth slightly syrupy finish.

22oz. Bottle: Odd aroma. Smells of buttered popcorn, salt, and figs. Poured dark amber in color with a small tan head that disappeared. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of dark ripe fruit, figs, malts, and alcohol. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Dried fruit and alcohol finish. Not a very exciting brew.

Opaque purplish brown like garnet or pomegranate seeds. Hardly any head but what’s there is fizzy and light brown. Nose is fruity and jammy with pomegranate and cherry. Prickly, fizzy mouthfeel. Bread crust flavors: much breadier than it smells. Body is also jammy though. Can really taste the figs. A bit intense with its dark bread and fig jam flavors. Interesting.

Brown, with a touch of red. Small ring of foam. Aroma is jam on toast - kind of a mix of fruity and bready. Flavor is similiar. Fruity notes - fig, I guess. Pretty tasty, actually. Sampled at Raleigh WBF.
