Polycask at Merton Summer Beer and Cider Festival, Merton, Oxon 18-07-09 Pours mid yellow in colour some spritzy white bubble’s show then swiftly fade. As one would expect this is another decent cider from Hecks but despite its rarity providing the allure for me I never found it to be quite the equal of the ’Port Wine of Glastonbury’ or the Blakeney Red Perry’ which we also had on at Merton. Its tasty very appley and with a good bitterswet tang but nothing else really to excite me, found this to be firmly in the med-dry category. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0
