Cask at the Alma, London, Oktoberfest Beer Festival. Pours a glowing, ruby-pink, with basically no head. Really, this hue is remarkable. Otherworldy even! Has an apple and light funk aroma. Flavor is dank, sweet, dry. Hintsof sweaty gym socks and dirt. Medium bodied with no carbonation. Has a very dry, sweet finish with light must, earth, apple and more dankness. Super cider.

Planet Thanet Festival 2010, Margate. Poured a thick and dark ruddy orange with no head, a slight haze and not much carbonation. Full and juicy, spicey apples on the nose. Thick and lightly warming, quite heavy with lots of sweetness a mild tart balance and some woodiness on the finish. Quite dense on the palate, soft and oily texture.
