From a bag in a box at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 11/08/2011. Deep gold with a trace of carbonation. Dry aroma of apple cores and skin with a hint of sweetness in the background. Flavour was similar, although slightly sweeter than the Crossman’s TB tried immediately before, with a dry finish. Fine.

Cask 3 judges. Over ripe green apples, loads of skins. Nutmeg. Tste is far more cider vingar, white wine and rubbish.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2008 A Mes rate: Polypin at GBBF.Pale, almost blonde colour. Vegetal and dry with some nice puckery apple sourness. Enjoyably drinkable.
